FOR SALE IS MY 1969 FORD BRONCO. I HAVE HAD THIS BRONCO SINCE 1997. MY SON HAS JUST TURNED 16 AND WE NEED THE GARAGE SPACE. I HATE TO SELL IT BUT IT DOES NOT GET ENOUGH USE TO KEEP IT AROUND. THERE IS A HARDTOP FOR THIS BRONCO. I DO NOT HAVE PICTURES AS IT IS IN A BARN 25 MILES AWAY. I CAN GET PICTURES IF NEEDED. THE HARD TOP HAS HAD A SUNROOF CUT IN IT BY A PREVIOUS OWNER, BUT OTHER THAN THAT IS IN ORIGINAL CONDITION. IT ALSO HAS A FACTORY ROOF RACK MOUNTED TO IT. THERE IS ONE QUARTER SIZE RUST HOLE ON THE REAR LOWER SIDE BY THE SIDE WINDOW. THE FRONT RAIN GUTTER IS IN GOOD CONDITION. I KEEP THIS BRONCO IN THE GARAGE AND THE TOP HAS NOT BEEN ON IT SINCE I PURCHASED IT IN COLORADO IN 1997. THE TRUCK DOES HAVE A CLEAR OHIO TITLE IN MY NAME, AND HAS 80,800 ORIGINAL MILES. I AM ALSO INCLUDING THE ROLL BAR AND NEW SEAT COVERS WHICH I NEVER GOT AROUND TO INSTALLING OR PAINTING. YOU CAN SEE THEM IN THE PICTURES. I CAN MOUNT THE HARDTOP ON THE TRUCK IF NEEDED FOR TRANSPORTATION.

Ford readying three-row Edge for China
Fri, Nov 21 2014The next-generation Ford Edge will be available with quite a growth spurt for its debut in China next year, with newly announced plans also to build and sell a three-row version exclusively in the People's Republic. However, markets outside of there likely won't see the larger model. Ford marketing boss (and future head of Ford of Europe) Jim Farley announced the three-row version of the crossover at the Los Angeles Auto Show, according to Automotive News. To create the extra room, Ford made the Chinese-built variant about 16 inches longer than its two-row counterpart. Farley didn't specify at which of the Blue Oval's plants in the country this model would be assembled. The Explorer and forthcoming Everest already offer three rows from the Ford lineup in China, but the company thinks the market can easily support all of them. According to Farley to Automotive News, the utility segment is up 485 percent in the country since 2008. Customers in the US can still look forward to the two-row Edge hitting dealers early next year. It'll be the first model in the Blue Oval's lineup here to come standard with EcoBoost power.
Ford says C-Max mpg reduction has hurt sales
Tue, 22 Apr 2014The Ford C-Max is having a rough time. Sales for the five-door hybrid hatchback were down 39.1 percent in March to 2,295 cars, and sales from January through March were down 42.5 percent to 5,566 units. In an interview with The Detroit News, Ford Americas boss Joe Hinrichs places the blame on lowering the model's fuel economy rating.
"We're definitely seeing consideration on C-Max decline over time. We need to reinvest in the product because it's a great car," said Hinrichs to The Detroit News.
The company was hit with bad publicity over the C-Max when owners in multiple states filed class action lawsuits that alleged the cars weren't able to meet the stated fuel economy. Ford eventually re-rated the model from 47 miles per gallon city, highway and combined to 40 mpg city, 45 mpg highway and 43 mpg combined. To soften the blow of the change, the automaker sent checks to the owners to make up some of the difference. Initially, Ford claimed that demand remained strong for the hybrid. However, the latest sales figures and Hinrichs' statement seem to show the opposite.
Project Ugly Horse alive and kicking at Road & Track
Thu, 29 Aug 2013The hallways of the Autoblog campus are much quieter now that Zach Bowman has taken his prose, along with his welders, wrenches and hammers, over to the digital pages of Road & Track, but that doesn't mean our favorite project Mustang is gone forever. Project Ugly Horse is still coming along, and Zach has gifted us another update on his unfoxy Fox Body.
Last we saw of the Ugly Horse, Zach was strengthening up the '89 Mustang's chassis as he prepares to stuff the turbocharged, direct-injected EcoBoost engine of a Ford Focus ST under the hood. First things first, the old mill must go. Head on over to Road & Track to catch the latest chapter of Project Ugly Horse.
