This 1975 Ford Elite was actually the sister car to the more famous Torino and more expensive when new. it is usually included on the Torino data bases and web sites and eBay do not have it in the Model selection, so I put it under Torino..

It is a good solid future classic with a powerful 460 V8 motor. It starts easy and drives nice for a car of this age. It does require some TLC, there is a belt squeal when cold and the AC needs servicing.

This a well equipped seventies cruiser with Vinyl roof. Everything seems to work except the clock and AC, including gauges, Power drivers seat, lights.Comes with original owners manual, owners card, Auto temp control and radio manuals. It also has a clear Georgia title.

There is a very low reserve on this car and it will make an awesome project for someone that likes large powerful cruisers. The only rust spot I see is below the small side window behind on the drivers side.

It is fitted with non standard, non matching wheels with good tires.

IIHS crash tests second F-150 bodystyle

Sometimes, being the king comes with some extra scrutiny. At the urging of Automotive News, the Ford F-150 is the first truck to have multiple cab configurations crash tested by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. According to Automotive News, IIHS was preparing to release the crash-test report on the 2015 F-150 after the safety watchdog evaluated the popular, four-door SuperCrew body. However, the agency learned from AN that configuration contained steel bars welded around the front wheels for added protection. Those reinforcements aren't on the other cab variants, and IIHS is now going back to check a SuperCab without the strengthening to check its safety performance, as well. While the added bars might help the SuperCrew score better in the vital but difficult small-overlap front crash test, there's no guarantee that's their sole purpose. As the head of the IIHS crash lab Joe Nolan indicated to Automotive News, if Ford were just trying to beat the system the company could only put the reinforcement on the driver's side where the agency does the small-overlap test. Also, when the National Highway Travel Safety Administration checked the latest F-150, the Feds gave all three cab styles top, five-star overall ratings. Due to the additional testing, IIHS won't have the F-150's scores ready until July, according to Automotive News. 2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid recalled over lack of roof padding

Ford is recalling 33,021 units of its 2013 C-Max Hybrid not equipped with optional panoramic roof panels. During testing, the model in question returned testing results for occupant head injuries that fell outside of criteria laid out in the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard. The issue puts occupants at greater risk of injury in the event of a crash if they are in an affected car.
The recall will begin August 19, at which time C-Max Hybrid owners can take their cars to dealers to have energy-absorbent material installed between the headliner and roof. The bulletin below from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has more information.
