This is a 1969 428 super cobra jet Torino fastback . The car is correct and complete . The 428 scj , 4 speed close ratio and 3.91 traction lock rear end all work together for a fast ride . Now with that said I only drive the car a couple of miles up the road a couple times a year . The car needs a brake job and tires to go on long trips . I bought the car a few years ago to restore and now I'm selling lost interest . As far as the body goes its solid with the exception of both lower rear quarters ( outer only ) , the tail light panel has a puncture beside the right rear tail light and the left side floor brace needs replaced . The pics should show these areas all are minor . The trim is good with the exception of the two rear wheel moldings . The interior is excellent only needing carpet and the drivers seat seams need repair the rest is great . This is a rare , fast muscle car in need of minor restoration . This is also a good and easy to fix car . The only thing I can find missing is the snorkel for the ram air breather . The Marti report says it all . We caught up with a few projects from Ringbrothers at SEMA this year: a classic Ford Mustang body rendered in carbon fiber, and a De Tomaso Pantera-based concept that made us swoon.
It's with good timing then, that our friends at Petrolicious have uploaded their newest, well-crafted mini-documentary to the expansive airwaves of the Internet. Here, we meet the brothers Ring in person - Mike and Jim - and see how they've lent they're passion for craftsmanship to their business, along with their surname. A 1964 Ford Fairlane dubbed "Afterburner" and a 1965 Mustang called "Producer" star in this show.

2015 Ford Mustang specs revealed, GT to pack 435 HP

The 2015 Ford Mustang sounds great so far - at least on paper. Ford has just announced specs for the latest version of the iconic pony car in Dearborn, telling Autoblog that it will pump out as much as 435 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque from its 5.0-liter V8.
Those gaudy figures power the naturally aspirated GT model, and they easily eclipse the "more than" 420 hp and 390 lb-ft that Ford originally estimated.
The 2.3-liter turbocharged EcoBoost four-cylinder makes 310 hp and 320 lb-ft, and it's the first turbo Mustang since the 1986 SVO.
