2003 Ford Thunderbird Premium Convertible 2-door 3.9l T-bird Roadster on 2040-cars
Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States
2003 Thunderbird Premium in Whisper White with Whisper white interior accents. Hard top is black and has the stand Heated drivers and Passenger seats New Michelins Select shift transmission Interior color accessory Package This car was for sale at the local Ford dealer, and I would drive by everyday on the way to work, one evening I stopped in and made a deal on the car. This is the second one I have owned and they really are just fun to drive. The fun part for me is I can take a back country side road most all the way to the business, and what a great stress relief it is. I have three convertibles, the others are Buicks, I kind of like the big car ride a bit better. Hence this one can be sold. The car was completely serviced before I picked it up, so it runs and drives nice. I'll have the oil changed and the car serviced before it leaves The paint and body is in fantastic condition. The interior is the same, just a very nice condition car all the way around. I added a wind screen behind the seats, its clear and so its not really too visible, yet it does a great job at cutting the wind down in the passenger compartment. At 60-65 mph its really pretty quiet in the car with that up. I also bought a new rear cover to go over the top when its in the down position, and a nice little Thunderbird logo trunk mat. The two tone interior really gives the car a nice retro look to it, and helps with the summer sun, as the seats don't cook you on a sunny day If you are local, I encourage you to come look and drive the car Thanks for looking and if you have any questions, please feel free to call 319-361-6465 Mark On Jul-10-14 at 15:19:06 PDT, seller added the following information: If you were to spend the money to run the AutoCheck Report system, you will find the car was sold new in New Mexico, later the owners moved to FL, and traded the car in. The car was sold to the Ford dealer where I live, I am the second owner of the car. The report shows absolutely no issues of any kind with the car. I have been asked if everything works, very simply, yes, all mechanical features work as new, 6 disc CD, top, windows, everything is correct Mark |

Want to buy a brand-new 1964 Ford Mustang? [w/video]
Wed, Mar 18 2015Even in its current iteration, the Ford Mustang is not without its share of heritage design cues. But if it's a more classic look of the first-gen pony car you're after, combined with modern levels of equipment, Revology just might have the answer. The Orlando-based company makes what you might call "continuation" Mustangs, using replica steel bodies made by Dynacorn and licensed by Ford to give it that classic look, but with modern technology. Under the skin you'll find a 5.0-liter fuel-injected V8 with 265 horsepower and either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission, but the powertrain is just the start. It's also got a MacPherson strut suspension, disc brakes, power steering and a cabin equipped with such modern accoutrements as power door locks and seats, keyless entry, intermittent wipers, even Bluetooth connectivity. And it's all covered by a one-year, unlimited-milage warranty, plus five-year corrosion protection and three-year powertrain warranty. Of course none of that comes cheap, as a turnkey Revology Mustang will set you back at least $119,500, in the buyer's choice of fastback or convertible body-styles. The first example was unveiled at the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance this past weekend, with the first customer examples set for delivery next year. This content is hosted by a third party. 2014 Roush Stage 3 Mustang
Fri, 26 Jul 2013Up until now, it's been some years since I managed to get behind the wheel of the hot Mustangs tuned by the folks at Roush Performance. My memories of those vehicles are fond, as the Roush up-fits usually make for better-driving examples of the iconic Ford pony, with better-tuned suspensions, excellent short-shift kits and, of course, huge additions of power. The wake-your-neighbors aural characteristics of these cars have been nothing short of outstanding, too.
But in the years since my last experience with the Roush formula, Ford's own development team has churned out some pretty potent 'Stangs. We currently live in a world where the Blue Oval will sell you a Mustang with 662 horsepower from the factory, and the recently departed Boss 302 remains one of the best Mustangs - and best sports coupes - the Autoblog crew has ever driven.
So with great-driving and hugely powerful Mustangs coming straight off the line at Ford's Flat Rock Assembly Plant, does the Roush package still offer that extra special something to make it stand out? I spent a week with a Stage 3 coupe to find out.
2016 Ford Focus RS leaked ahead of official debut
Tue, Feb 3 2015We won't officially see the new Ford Focus RS until the Blue Oval shows it to the world at an event on Tuesday, but here it is ahead of time, courtesy of the folks at Evo. As you can see, this is one hot little hatch, and if Evo's story is to be believed, those aggressive looks will be backed up with some pretty serious performance. Power is said to come from Ford's 2.3-liter EcoBoost inline four-cylinder engine, though the magazine's estimate of 250 horsepower seems awfully conservative to us (considering that's less than the current Focus ST). If earlier reports are to be believed, we think the RS will come packing more like 300 hp, if not more. For the first time, the Focus RS will use all-wheel drive with brake-operated torque-vectoring, and Evo says that up to 70 percent of the engine's power can be sent to the rear wheels. Hitting 60 miles per hour will reportedly take less than five seconds. Otherwise, it's business as usual, with a mean-looking exterior complete with the necessary aero bits (notice that wing!), and inside, we can see a beefy set of Recaro chairs. That's really all we know for now, but stay tuned for more when the Focus RS makes its official debut in the not-too-distant future. Related Video:
