This car is re-painted the original Saphire Blue which was a 1-year only Thunderbird exclusive color. The only reason it was painted was the original paint was so faded, it was impossible to bring back to life. The interior is all original and features the correct Thunderbird floor mats both front and rear. It has A/C. I had it charged and gone through about 5 years ago, but have really never used it. I believe the top is original too. There were 2 spots when the car was repainted, a slight curb scrape behind the right front wheel and a small spot of rust on the 'flipper panel' that the top is attached to.

Everything is original except the mechanical top relays. Because of their inherent unreliability, they have been replaced with a custom electonic relay system that is extremely reliable. The only thing that is extra on the car that is not on the original build sheet is the right hand outside mirror. This was a dealer installed option. The car came without skirts and has the correct chrome wheel well surrounds. It wears new whitewall radial tires with red lines as shwon oon the invoice.

All rubber seals have been replaced including top seals, door seals, main seal, transmission seal etc. I have invoices for all work done by me and also work done by the original owner. The mileage is original and correct. I also have the original Georgia title as well as all books and manuals. These all go with the car.

You can now order Domino's pizza from your Sync-equipped Ford

The news keeps pouring in from the Consumer Electronics Show now underway in Las Vegas, and the latest comes from Ford which has announced two new apps for its Sync AppLink system.
First up is a cooperative app launched by Ford together with Domino's Pizza that lets drivers of the former order pizza from the latter right from their car. The service allows those with Ford Sync AppLink in their car or truck and are registered with a Domino's Pizza Profile to place an order for their favorite pie using Dearborn's voice-recognition software for either pickup or delivery. Save your information in your Pizza Profile and it'll be sent to your house without even the push of a button, which strikes us as awesome a use of technology as we've ever seen.

Ford will keep Escape and MKC plant open an extra week to meet demand

Crossovers keep selling like popular pastries, and for Ford, that means it needs to keep production going. The company announced that, rather than the usual two-week shutdown, its Louisville, Ky., assembly plant will be open for one of those weeks. The plant builds the Ford Escape and Lincoln MKC, which Ford reports have had record sales. According to Ford, Escape sales through May are up 3 percent, and MKC sales are up 10 percent compared with last year. In total, the Escape has sold about 130,000 units through May, and the MKC has sold around 11,000. Keeping the Louisville plant open will allow the company to build an additional 8,500 vehicles. Ford stated that all other assembly plants will continue with the two-week shutdown as scheduled. Ford S-Max Concept previews new look, technology for Euro seven-seater

Ford unveiled today the S-Max Concept, which comes with a new, sleek look and loaded with innovative technology, such as a heart-rate monitoring seat. But if you're heart is set on a minivan sports activity vehicle (SAV) and you live in the States, don't wait for this one - it's a Europe-only product, and we don't expect that to change when the next-gen S-Max is released.
The styling follows Ford's global design language, looking a bit like an overgrown Focus hatchback with the company's signature grille, wraparound headlamps, steeply raked windshield and curved roof line. Ford also implemented details to make the S-Max look longer and faster, such as a feature line on each side of the vehicle and muscular-looking fenders. The engine isn't Ford's most powerful, but the new 1.5-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine should be potent enough with turbocharging and other efficiency related technologies.
Ford says the new interior, which seats up to seven people, features high-quality materials and fine detailing, such as an "ultra-soft" leather wrap for the instrument panel and leather and carbon-fiber details on the seats. Ford's Sync connectivity system with MyFord Touch makes the car a wireless hotspot, and there's a tablet docking station for second-row occupants.
