1965 Ford Thunderbird Low Reserve

This car was my daily driver and unfortunately my space limits require it find a new home. The car is black with a red interior  the car could use a paint job or buffing of paint and needs minor cosmetics. Some bodywork was done on car in the past before I owned it. Hood has some cracks in the paint. Car just had its transmission resealed.

Car does not leak or burn any fluids.  Newer tires I have the 4 original hubcaps. New Gas tank, New Battery,  Brakes good. Steering good. Wipers good, Air shocks in back. Disc brakes in the front. Car does not overheat and can drive well. The car has power windows, back windows do not operate and recently you have to help the drivers side go up (off track)

Has two sets of keys and starts right up. Clear NJ title. Interior in decent shape but headliner was ripped and dash has two cracks in it.

Lights and gauges work. Clock does not work. Slide away steering wheel. Original radio in dash newer radio mounted under dash with no damage to car. The car may have slight manifold exhaust gasket leak which may require tightening on the manifold. This car gets a lot of attention great car to cruise in or use as you see fit. The car is older and not perfect but a nice driver quality car that never let me down. One of the coolest cars youll see, The car show "Fast and Loud" just had a similar car same year that sold for $20,000!

Ford Australia pulls the ol' talking car prank

Mon, 07 Apr 2014

Siri from Apple has proven that being able to talk to your technology doesn't always work perfectly. But what if it could eventually go far enough to give a personality to inanimate objects like our cars? Ford took just this path to comedic effect by playing a prank on many unsuspecting Australians, in a new commercial for its EcoSport compact crossover.
The Aussies seem very nonchalant about having a random parked car talk to them, and they seem surprisingly game when it asks them to get in, call a celebrity and tell a joke. (We're guessing there are some hilarious outtakes, too.) Scroll down to watch some folks from Down Under have a conversation with Ford's CUV.

2015 Ford Mustang gets pricing, configurator and less weight than expected

Fri, 13 Jun 2014

It's here; it's finally here. No more speculating or looking at dealer order guides, the configurator for the 2015 Ford Mustang is finally online. That means you should put down whatever you're doing and build your new 'Stang. Weight data for the new model has also leaked out, and while there is an increase, it's less than previously rumored.
The basic V6 coupe carries a base price of $23,600, plus an additional $825 destination charge for all models. Upgrading to the 2.3-liter Ecoboost costs $25,170, and the Ecoboost Premium is $29,170. If you need a V8 in your life, the Mustang GT is $32,100 or $36,100 with the Premium package. That puts the starting price up about $1,000 over the previous generation for the V6, but the turbocharged four-cylinder starts about $1,400 less than the V6 Premium, which is no longer available. Prices for both V8 models jumped about $1,000, as well.
If you need the convertible Mustang, the V6 starts at $29,100, excluding destination, $1,590 more than last year. The Ecoboost Premium 'vert is $34,670, and the GT droptop is $41,600.

Ford partnering with MIT, Stanford on autonomous vehicle research

Fri, 24 Jan 2014

Ask any car engineer what's the biggest variable in achieving fuel economy targets, and he'll tell you "the driver." If one human can't understand human driving behavior enough to be certain about an innocuous number like miles per gallon, how is an autonomous car supposed to figure out what hundreds of other drivers are going to do in the course of a day? Ford has enlisted the help of Stanford and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to find out.
Starting with the automated Fusion Hybrid introduced in December, MIT will be developing algorithms that driverless cars can use to "predict actions of other vehicles and pedestrians" and objects within the three-dimensional map provided by its four LIDAR sensors.
The Stanford team will research how to extend the 'vision' of that LIDAR array beyond obstructions while driving, analogous to the way a driver uses the entire width of a lane to see what's ahead of a larger vehicle in front. Ford says it wants to "provide the vehicle with common sense" as part of its Blueprint for Mobility, preparing for an autonomous world from 2025 and beyond.
