2001 Silver Ford Taurus sedan with only 57,349 miles. This Taurus has a 3.0 V6 engine with automatic transmission. Vehicle runs and drives perfect. Is equipped with power windows, locks, mirrors, AM/FM/CD player, driver/passenger side air bag, remote keyless entry.
Vehicle has a fresh PA State Inspection good until 7/15. Vehicle has four matching Continental tires. Front tires and brakes are new. Front tires: 11/32 Rear tires: 7/32 Front brakes: 10/32 Rear brakes (shoes/drums): 4/32. Also just installed a new power steering pump and replaced the metal brake lines that run from front to rear of the vehicle. The oil and filter were also just done. All lights and accessories work perfectly. AC blows ice cold and heat blows hot. All interior and exterior lights are operational. Wipers, stereo, defrosters all work perfect. The body shows its age in places. There are scratches and dings on the exterior. The driver's side rear quarter panel area had a bit of rust. I had the area fixed and painted over. You can see in the pictures the paint is not a perfect match in that area. The interior is clean and seats in great condition. The dash panel, interior trim, door panels are all in great condition. This is a great reliable low mileage vehicle that would be perfect for a new driver. Car is ready to go and needs nothing. Ford wins second consecutive International Van of the Year award with Transit Connect
Wed, 18 Sep 2013The redesigned 2014 Ford Transit Connect isn't even on sale yet, but it's already making its presence felt around the world. At a commercial vehicle expo in Russia, the Transit Connect was named the International Van of the Year.
Ford's small work van edged out the new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter by just seven points to allow Ford to grab this honor for the second consecutive year, which it won last year with the Transit Custom. Not only does this make Ford the first to ever win the award in back-to-back years, but it's also the fifth time the automaker has won this award since 2003 (two with the Transit Connect, two with the fullsize Transit and once with the Transit Custom). Ford congratulates itself for the accomplishment in a press release posted below.
Ford spotted testing new Fiesta RS hot hatch
Mon, Mar 16 2015There's a lot to love about Focus ST and Fiesta ST, but if neither of those is enough for you, we've got good news: Ford has even more potent RS versions of both in the works. The Focus RS we already saw last month, but here we have our first spy shots of the smaller Fiesta RS undergoing testing. Spotted alongside still-camouflaged prototypes of its big brother, the new Ford Fiesta RS is wearing a modified front end, flared fenders packing a wider track and a revised rear-end. The beefed-up bodywork is all well and fine, but we're looking forward to finding out what's underneath it all. Sources point towards a 250-horsepower version of Dearborn's 1.6-liter EcoBoost turbo four, along with upgraded brakes and suspension. The big question, though, is whether the production Fiesta RS will pack the new performance all-wheel-drive system from its larger counterpart, or stick with front-drive and some sort of clever diff. It may be too early to tell, as this pocket rocket is likely a good year away from its debut, but in the meantime you can scope out the spy shots in the slideshow above for a taste of what's to come. Consumer Reports says these are the worst new cars of 2014
Thu, 27 Feb 2014Consumer Reports has announced its annual list of worst vehicles, a cringe-inducing contrast to its list of top vehicles. Ignominiously leading the way in 2014 is Chrysler, which has a staggering seven models listed.
Jeep nearly sweeps the small SUV segment by itself, with its Compass, Patriot and 2.4-liter version of the new Cherokee, while the only midsize sedans listed by CR were the Chrysler 200 and Dodge Avenger. The new Dodge Dart and the Dodge Journey round out CR's condemnation of Chrysler.
Ford is taking heat as well, with the Taurus, Edge and their counterparts from Lincoln all listed as the worst vehicles in their respective segments. Toyota doesn't fare much better, with its Lexus IS, Scion iQ and tC also making the list.
