I have had this truck for the past 12 years, it took me 2.5 years to completely rebuilt this truck myself, frame off, every nut, bolt, seal, u-joints, replaced or repainted.
Added a 6" Skyjacker lift kit, 33" super swamper tsl tires, on 10" ultra wheels, disk brakes front and back. I have a bed rug in the box, No rust on this truck at all, 2 small patches were welded in the floor by myself, one was by the emergency brake pedal, the other was on the passenger side seat rail,( rear mounting point ). The floor has been completely sprayed in box liner inside ( under carpet ), and outside underneath, the box itself has also been box lined underneath. Truck has a freshly rebuilt 302 H.O. out of a 1988 Mustang lx, it was bored .30 over, has an edelbrock intake, with a 670 CFM truck avgener carb, A6AL msd ignition box - coil and distributer, truck has no problem spinning the 33's. Engine was Professionally rebuilt at local engine shop and was dynoed at 325HP 350 ft/tq. Transmission is a C6 Completely rebuilt wait a b&m shift kit and a b&m ratchet shifter, mated to a NP 205 transfer case ( gear to gear ), Also professionally built. Inside truck is stock with sunroof, cassette player. For the second time in my life, I'm staring at an engine in the back of a truck with no concept of how to get it safely into the garage by my lonesome. The first time this happened, I dragged home a $300 International 345 V8 in the back of my Scout Terra only to discover that the bounds of my manliness terminated well before my ability to muscle that 800-pound cast iron block out of the pickup bed.
2016 Green Truck of the Year, Commercial Green Car of the Year finalists

The 2016 Green Truck of the Year, the second time the award has been handed out, is being decided by judges from Green Car Journal and the San Antonio Auto & Truck Show. This year the award is joined by the new 2016 Commercial Green Car of the Year, which crowns one of the little vans increasingly used by small business as cargo and delivery vehicles. The Green Truck of the Year finalists are the Chevrolet Colorado Duramax (pictured), Ford F-150, GMC Canyon Duramax, Nissan Titan XD, and Toyota Tacoma. The first three of those were on last year's list, but since they are completely new or upgraded for 2016 - Ford with its all-aluminum body, the General Motors twins with the new diesel Duramax engine - they qualify for entry again. The Ram 1500 EcoDiesel won last year. The Commercial Green Car finalists are the Chevrolet City Express, Ford Transit Connect, Mercedes-Benz Metris, Nissan NV200, and Ram ProMaster City.
