  • Rare & solid RUNNING and DRIVING truck
  • Was on Ebay twice previously but all mechanicals and some surface rust has been removed since then

  • The truck is now titled and insured in my name and is driven daily.
  • The odometer is reading 46,400 something now and is working but the calibration is slightly off because of different tires or different transmission.

  • The carburetor has been gone through, the clutch adjusted and the brakes are newer.
  • The truck runs & drives beautifully (SEE VIDEOS) and is getting 20+ miles per gallon.
  • The surface rust on the undercarriage has been rotary-brushed, primed, and painted.
  • The inside of the bed has also been cleaned and painted satin white.
  • There is one area inside the rear lower quarter that needs a patch, and the two corners inside the bed still need some minor attention.

  • There is one small hole in passenger side floor pan, very minor.
  • There are some lumps and bumps in the rear lower drivers side quarter and also on the tailgate but this truck is extremely solid.
  • All glass is good.  Lights, wipers, turn signals, brake lights, & even the 4-way flashers all work.
  • The heater hoses are not hooked up but all ducting is there and fan blows.

Ford dominates most-stolen SUV list

Tue, 17 Jun 2014

The Ford Escape leads the NICB's list with 1,421 examples stolen.
If you drive a recent Ford SUV or crossover, you may want to keep a watchful eye out for thieves - especially if you live in the New York metro area or in Detroit. A new study from the National Insurance Crime Bureau has named three Ford models as the most likely vehicles in their genre to be stolen, with CUVs in general being especially attractive to bandits.

Ford gives police chiefs tech to surveil officers in their own cars

Tue, 28 Oct 2014

Police officers certainly have a difficult job in keeping the streets safe, but as public employees in positions of authority, there is still a very real need for oversight. To that end, Ford is partnering with a tech company to offer a new system called Ford Telematics for Law Enforcement on its line of Police Interceptor patrol vehicles that could make cops safer, while giving cities a better idea of what its officers are doing.
The system streams live data about cruisers back to the home base to people like the police chief or shift supervisor. That info includes expected things like speed, location and cornering acceleration, but it gets incredibly granular as well, with records of things like if emergency lights are on, or even if an officer is wearing a seatbelt.
Ford Telematics for Law Enforcement "ought to protect officers as much as it protects the public," said Ford spokesperson Chris Terry to Autoblog. Constantly monitoring patrol cars offers cities a lot of advantages, too. First, it reduces potential liability because a department can prove where each vehicle is at all times. Also, officers know they are being watched and may potentially drive more safely.
