So... the best way to get it is to bid early. 1951 Ford F1 Original/Matching number V8 Flathead with correct Vermillion Red in base/clear 0 miles since complete Frame-off restoration. Laser straight with best-of-show paint job. We were able to find the formula for the Vermillion Red on the trim tag and it is correct. Flathead V-8 runs smoothly and starts quickly. Battery relocated from subfloor to firewall Very rare long-wrap rear bumper. Grille teeth were painted the correct silver/gray Bumpers and running boards correct gloss black New Interior and Carpet, New chrome on hood, Glass is clear and excellent. Replaced the entire 6v wiring harness to match factory New wood with 7 coats of clear (top & bottom). Tires are in great shape Obviously it is an AS-IS 63 year old truck Clear Texas title and 5-year Classic registration to drive today It can go straight from the transport truck to the car show next weekend in your town. We have a few local dealers sniffing around, so we reserve the right to end early, but they do not move very fast. Ford doubling 1.0L EcoBoost engine production
Fri, 06 Sep 2013Ford's 1.0-liter EcoBoost three-cylinder engine hasn't been around that long, but it sounds like the engine is getting to be fairly popular in the automaker's global car lineup. The Detroit News is reporting that Ford has add a second shift that will allow its German engine plant to double daily output from 500 engines to 1,000.
The increased capacity is part of a plan to sell more than 300,000 vehicles a year with this engine in Europe by 2015. Europe is currently the only market where the smallest of the EcoBoost engines is offered (including in the Focus pictured above), but US-spec Fiesta models will be getting this mill for 2014.
Three-cylinder engines are expected to continue to grow in popularity in coming years with the report indicating that global production of these engines will double by 2018 to 9.8 million units. General Motors, BMW and Mitsubishi are all expected to introduce three-cylinder engines in the near term, as well.
Ford updates Transit lineup for 2016

So when Ford announces some minor updates to the Transit and Transit Connect, we deliver the news that every plumber, electrician, and airport shuttle driver across the nation (and Canada) needs. The biggest item for 2016 is an optional passenger side sliding door on medium- and high-roof models, improving access to the Transit's cavernous interior. Ford's rollout of the much-improved Sync 3 infotainment system also expands to the to large van. And a reverse backup camera is now standard across the lineup.
