2002 MUSTANG ROUSH STAGE 3. THIS IS THE REAL DEAL. THIS STANG IS THE NUMBER 1 OFF THE ASSEMBLY LINE, BUILT AND FEATURED FOR THE JAVITS CENTER CAR SHOW FOR 2002. This mustang is loaded and is quite the handful. It is supercharged and if you know what Jack Roush is all about, this is it. He has personally signed off on the car by autographing under the hood indicating that it is the #1 USA Roush Stang for that year. This vehicle is like you just rolled it out of the showroom floor. It has been stored on carpet and under cover. As you can see the speedometer reads 578 miles and that is TRUE. Love, love, love this car but unfortunately, the economy is kicking my "a.." and I have to sell. You wouldn't be looking at this page if you didn't know what this car is all about. Next-gen Ford Cobra Jet development underway, but will it be a Mustang?
Wed, 09 Oct 2013Ford might be stepping away from the NHRA, but it isn't abandoning drag racing altogether. Hot Rod says that Ford confirmed a next-gen Cobra Jet factory drag racer is in the works, but the report also speculates that a new Cobra Jet could switch away from the Mustang nameplate.
Even though talk of a new Cobra Jet coincides with the all-new 2015 Mustang, the lack of confirmation for the dragster's platform leaves Hot Rod to guess that the car might switch to another platform - specifically a front-drive-based, unibody car like the Fusion or Taurus. We'd hate to think of a world with a NASCAR-ized dragster from Ford Racing, but it's also highly unlikely that the Mustang Cobra Jet would step away from its quarter-mile rivals like the Chevy COPO Camaro and Dodge Challenger Drag Pak.
Detroit 3 small cars lay an egg in latest Consumer Reports reliability study
Tue, 28 Oct 2014Consumer Reports has released its Annual Auto Reliability Survey and the results are, in a word, interesting. While we already covered the score-damaging effects of infotainment systems, there's another big angle to the data that's getting some attention - the utterly dismal scores of the Detroit Three's small car offerings.
The turbocharged Dodge Dart and Chevrolet Cruze, as well as the Ford Fiesta were their respective brands' lowest-scoring models, a stat that's made worse by the fact that the American automakers finished 25th, 21st and 23rd, respectively.
That's not acceptable for The Detroit Free Press' auto critic, Mark Phelan, who has penned a scathing critique of the D3's small car reliability scores, arguing that GM, Ford and Chrysler are "out of excuses."
2015 Ford Focus ST zooming toward Goodwood reveal [w/video]
Mon, 23 Jun 2014Ford has quite a party ready for the Goodwood Festival of Speed starting on June 27. Not only is the 2015 Mustang going to be driving in front of the European public for the first time, the Blue Oval is also unveiling its 2015 refresh for the Focus ST.
Official details about the latest Focus hot hatch are practically nonexistent at this point. Ford's teaser image shows narrower headlights, and the company says that the ST also benefits from the technical and quality improvements from the refreshed standard model, which likely means an even more Aston-Martin-like grille. However, any improvements for the power or handling are a mystery for now.
Ford will even give visitors to the festival the chance to drive the new ST - at least virtually. Gran Turismo 6 kiosks will be on hand with the hot hatch loaded up to race the Goodwood Hill Climb. There will also be real-time races between former Stig Ben Collins in the real ST challenging a player up the hill in the game.
