The car is in running condition, it was my commute and project car for the last few years. The following items were replaced: rack and pinion, clutch disc, clutch cable, balancer, heater core, alternator, front and rear shocks, front/rear brake disks, calipers and pads, water pup, ignition module, air bag module, power steering pump, throttle position sensor, oxygen sensors and the whole exhaust system (dual pipes all the way from the converters with flowmaster mufflers). The hood and the front bumper have a coat of primer and need some body work. The rear quarter panel needs some body work as well (see picture). A/C needs to be recharged, I never recharged the a/c after changing the heater core. The car also has aftermarket power door locks and an inexpensive alarm system.

Ford recalls 1.9m cars and crossovers for defective airbags

The Basics: Ford is recalling a total of 1,898,728 vehicles to replace defective Takata front passenger-side airbags. This includes the 2007-2010 Ford Edge, 2006-2011 Ford Fusion, 2005-2011 Ford Mustang, 2007-2011 Ford Ranger, 2007-2010 Lincoln MKX and 2006-2011 Lincoln MKZ, Zephyr and Mercury Milan vehicles built in North America. The Problem: The defective airbags have been linked to ruptures that can send metal fragments at the passenger, due to deteriorating propellant. Injuries/Deaths: Ford claims it's not aware of any injuries due to the problem, but rupturing Takata airbags have been linked to a series of serious injuries and deaths. The Fix: Dealers will replace the passenger-side frontal airbag at no charge to the customer. If you own one: Look out for a letter from the manufacturer to arrange service at your local dealer. The Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance has more clout every year and is getting a reputation as Pebble Beach minus the madness. Held in March this year, it celebrated Ducati and the 50-year anniversaries of Lamborghini, the Corvette Sting Ray, Porsche 911 and the Ford GT40.
Justin Lapriore was there, and seemingly everywhere, getting footage of the various wares on display on the lawns and the sand and the runway. The resulting video, Born of a Blue Sky, is a 16-minute survey of some of the finer sights and plenty of engine sounds. Check it out below.
