The name "Shelby" is a legacy all in itself. With racing heritage dating back to the 60's, any car lucky enough to
wear the name is an instant piece of American heritage. In 2007 Ford released the rendition of the legendary Shelby
GT500 and instantly set the pace for the market as we know it today! These GT500's featured a 540 Horsepower
Supercharged 5.4L engine that instantly found itself on top of the horsepower races with the Camaro's, Mopar's,
base Vettes, and other competitors. With the exhaust on this vehicle, the Cabin is very quiet and there is no
"drone" pitch. I am HIGHLY impressed with the driveability of these Shelby's! They are one of the EASIEST and
SMOOTHEST driving high horsepower vehicles ever made! Come see for your self! The GT500 isnt all about performance
however. Along with performance and drivability comes comfort! The Shelby interior showcases black leather seating
with leather wrapped door panels, leather wrapped and stitched dash, and leather shift boot with red stitching
giving it that sleek, sporty, yet luxurious look. Seating is extremely comfortable. You could easily go cross
country in this car! This GT500 also has the ambient lighting which allows you to select the color of the interior
accents and change the color of the gauge lights. You can change the setting to show Red, White, and Blue! With all
these ammenities and historical connections, It's simple, you can't go wrong with this car! Now, after the American
car legend himself, Carroll Shelby, has passed away, these cars are soaring in value. This is the last of the
Shelbys that will actually be designed by Carroll Shelby himself, so don't miss out on this beatiful
masterpiece!!!!

Ford Focus EV's slow sales trigger massive incentives
Fri, 25 Jan 2013The Detroit News reports Ford is having real trouble moving its new Focus Electric. As a result, the automaker is offering substantial incentives in an attempt to lure in more buyers. How substantial? Try $10,750 off of a three-year lease. What's more, the EV can now be had for $37,995 ($2,000 less than its original base price) on top of an additional $2,000 cash discount to buy the EV outright - or you can opt for 1.9-percent financing if you work through Ford Motor Credit. None of which factors in various potential government incentives. Last year, Ford managed to sell a paltry 685 of the 1,627 Focus EV hatchbacks it built.
Ford isn't alone in trying to woo more buyers to its EV effort. Nissan cut the price of its Leaf by a whopping 18 percent for 2013, now down to $28,800 and built in the USA. The move followed the automaker's substantial incentives in 2012.
If you want a Focus Electric, you can now apparently get your hands on one for as little as $285 per month with $930 due at signing for a 36-month lease with 10,500 miles per year.
Ford wins second consecutive International Van of the Year award with Transit Connect
Wed, 18 Sep 2013The redesigned 2014 Ford Transit Connect isn't even on sale yet, but it's already making its presence felt around the world. At a commercial vehicle expo in Russia, the Transit Connect was named the International Van of the Year.
Ford's small work van edged out the new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter by just seven points to allow Ford to grab this honor for the second consecutive year, which it won last year with the Transit Custom. Not only does this make Ford the first to ever win the award in back-to-back years, but it's also the fifth time the automaker has won this award since 2003 (two with the Transit Connect, two with the fullsize Transit and once with the Transit Custom). Ford congratulates itself for the accomplishment in a press release posted below.
Ford's Simple Suit Makes You Feel Like A Drunk Driver
Tue, Mar 25 2014We've all heard about the dangers of drunk driving for practically our entire lives. Whether it's from PSAs on TV or lectures in school, no one can claim ignorance of drunk driving being extremely dangerous. However, that doesn't prevent some people from still doing it. Ford is trying to take the safety message directly to young drivers with a special suit that allows them to simulate driving under the influence. It is all part of Ford's Driving Skills for Life program that gives free driving education to young people. The program is meant to "train kids in skills they don't learn in driver's ed," said Kelli Felker, Ford Safety Communications Manager, to Autoblog. The drivers don a few items to impair their senses and make them off-balance to simulate having a few too many drinks and then go out on a closed course with an instructor to see the effects. Felker said that the suit is a new part of the program, and Ford just received the outfit in the US. It will be incorporated into the training here in the late spring or early summer. Scroll down to see the effect it has on drivers in Europe. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings.
