2007 Ford Mustang Roush on 2040-cars
Catoosa, Oklahoma, United States
If you have any questions or would like to view the car in person please email me at: derrickdnnardella@clubkawasaki.com .
This listing is for my 2007 Mustang Roush. I had a shop install a ford racing cam, a 2.49 superchager pulley, and
catless BBK headers when the vehicle had about 10,000 miles. It put down 450 to the wheels on its first dynojet
pull and we slowed it down to 430 to make it a reliable daily driver( about 550 to the crank). I also added HID
kits to the head and fog lights.( Though it is a daily driver
it sits in the garage and i do not drive it to work. About as far as it goes is 10 miles to the gym and back. Since
I have owned the car I've never had to do anything other than maintenance. At about 30,XXX miles I added 4.10 ford
racing gears, i still have not had the computer set for these gears so the speedometer is a little off. For
example, if you are going 40 mph the spedo reads 45 mph. There are a few ways to fix this either with a retune,
there is a converter box that can be added, or the factory gears can be reinstalled. I have all factory parts for
this car and two spare rims that you are more than welcome to keep with the purchase of the vehicle. I included a
picture of all the scratches I know about on the car. The up close of the white decal is to show that they are
chipping away a little, I just took a picture of one but they are all chipping. The interior is next to flawless
just some slight wear on the floor mats. The car has no known dents on the body. Car shifts great, corners like a
champ, and drives smooth. Feel free to message me with any questions. Buyer is responsible to ship. I can send more
pictures upon request.

Ford C-Max Solar Energi takes a recharging station wherever it goes
Wed, 08 Jan 2014Companies ranging in size from small startups to major automakers have been experimenting with solar-powered charging stations for EVs and plug-in hybrids. And, of course, people have been powering vehicles with onboard solar panels for quite some time, too. Still, Ford's new C-Max Solar Energi Concept shows the promise of a truly practical implementation of solar on a production vehicle, and it may not be as far off in the future as we had thought.
As we reported a few days ago, the Solar concept makes use of a "concentrator lens" that focuses sunlight onto the Ford's roof-mounted solar panels. The special lens follows the rays of the sun to maximize the amount of charge being fed to the batteries of the car, taking about a day to fully charge the 21-mile, all-electric range of the C-Max Energi. Ford data suggests that combination might be enough to power 75 percent of all trips made by a statistically average driver. In turn, using the sun to power a vehicle could reduce yearly C02 emissions by up to four metric tons when compared with the driver of an average gasoline-powered sedan.
We've got live images of the C-Max Solar Energi Concept, jauntily tilted on its display to best present it's signature solar panels, straight from the CES floor.
J Mays on the 2015 Ford Mustang
Thu, 05 Dec 2013J Mays, head of design at Ford, may be retiring from the company after 16 years, but not before showing the world his swan song: the 2015 Mustang. Ford officially revealed its new coupe and convertible to the public at events around the world on Thursday, including a live unveiling on ABC's Good Morning America, and Mays was in attendance at the automaker's home event in Dearborn, MI, which is where we caught up with him for a few words about his new baby.
"It's a joy" to design the Mustang, Mays told Autoblog, adding that this sixth-generation coupe is his "favorite design so far." Of course, the 2015 model takes cues from all of the generations that came before it, but Mays said it was important to edit down the specific elements from previous models, leaving just enough off to let the customer "participate and fill in the blanks."
"If it doesn't sell itself, you probably aren't a Mustang fan."
Last 2014 Ford Shelby GT500 Convertible nets $500k for charity at Barrett-Jackson [w/video]
Tue, 13 Aug 2013The last 2014 Ford Shelby GT500 Convertible was sold on Saturday at a Barrett-Jackson auction in Reno, Nevada, for $500,000. Ford donated the Mustang to be auctioned for charity, and all of the money is going to the Brain Injury Association of America.
Parnelli Jones, winner of the 1963 Indianapolis 500, was there on behalf of the BIAA with his son Page, who suffered a brain injury in a sprint car crash in 1994. The bidding increased quickly, reaching $500k in no time, spreading a bit more hope to people who live with brain injuries.
The winning bidder will be able to choose the GT500's exterior, interior and stripe colors, and is scheduled to receive the car, signed by Parnelli Jones in appreciation for the donation, by the end of 2013. Watch the video below to see the auction-block action.
