2005 - Ford Mustang on 2040-cars
Richland, South Carolina, United States
I have had the car since day 1 and bought it brand new 9 years ago. The car was kept mostly in a climate controlled garage. I have the owners manual, 2 remotes, and 3 keys. The only reason why i'm selling the car is because i'm planning on buying a house and getting married. Please, ask all the questions you need! I will try to be as detailed as possible. This car has some modifications: V6 rear end replaced with a Posi Trac GT Rear End with 3:55 Gears (This is not a junk yard rear! It was bought from a company that turns Roush Mustangs into High Performance Cars as a low millage take off) Red Caliper Covers New Traction Bars Dual - Bassani Exhaust Mufflers Kenwood DNX7120 with Navigation and Bluetooth Module 2 - 10" Alpine Type R Subs Alpine Amp MRP-M1000 Side Window and Fender Louvers Back Aluminum Window Louvers Sequential Taillight Signal Systems Trunk Cover Material with Pony Logo on deck lid. Bremmer Kraft 19" Rims with Staggered Faulkin tires. 245/35 in the front, and 275/35 in the back. Homelink Review Mirror with Compass and Auto Dimming. Allows 3 programmable Garage remotes. Recent Repairs: New Battery New Alternator New Harmonic Balancer Due to some recent questions from some fellow e-bayer users: I did all the oil changes and always used synthetic oil. I did a radiator flush late last year. I changed the rear end fluid about 25,000 miles ago with synthetic oil. I replaced the ball joints when I had the GT rear end put in. I did last year have new break pads installed. I can't remember if i had the rotors cut or replaced. One tire was replaced because I had gotten a nail in the sidewall and it couldn't be patched, so i had a new tire installed. (see pictures) The cruise control sometimes turns on and works, and sometimes it doesn't turn on and work. I honestly have never really used it for as long as i've owned the car, and don't know what it would cost to repair. Please send an e-bay message with questions.

Mark LaNeve named head of Ford US sales and marketing
Thu, Jan 8 2015Ford continues to rework the positions of its top marketing executives as Jim Farley moves to take over the Blue Oval in Europe and Stephen Odell becomes head of global sales. The latest shift brings Mark LaNeve in as the new vice president of US marketing, sales, service and dealer relations, effective February 1. LaNeve replaces John Felice, who is retiring. Felice was with the automaker for the last 30 years and held his most recent job since November of 2013. In addition to coordinating marketing and sales, LaNeve's other duty is to build "innovative new digital communications and transforming the retail experience for customers," according to the automaker's press release announcing the change. He reports to both Odell and Joe Hinrichs, Ford's boss of the Americas. LaNeve has a long history in the auto industry. He spent a portion of his early career with Cadillac but eventually was hired as the CEO of Volvo Cars North America. He also headed up US marketing at General Motors for several years in the 2000s. Since 2012, LaNeve has been the chief operating officer at Global Ford Team, which is responsible for the company's worldwide advertising. There's an interesting challenge ahead of LaNeve in leading the Blue Oval's US marketing and sales in 2015. Ford was the bestselling auto brand here in 2014 but overall sales fell about 1.1 percent. According to Automotive News, the company's market share dropped to 14.9 percent, a one-percent reduction and the lowest level since 2008. Read below for the automaker's official announcement of LaNeve's new job. Ford recalling nearly 24,000 Focus EV and C-Max models over door chime
Fri, 04 Oct 2013Ford will be voluntarily recalling 23,830 Focus Electric and C-Max Hybrid and Energi models equipped with push-button ignition, according to The Detroit News. Why? Because the cars don't make a noise when the driver's door is open, and are therefore in violation of federal regulations. It's not as silly as Honda's badging recall that isn't a recall, but it's close.
Actually, that's not exactly fair. The chime is supposed to come on when the driver's door is open, as it reminds drivers not to leave their cars on or leave key fobs in the car, an easy thing to forget when the cars in question make virtually no noise at idle and do not require keys in ignitions.
The recall, which Ford is conducting voluntarily, covers 2012 and 2013 Focus Electric hatchbacks and 2013 C-Max Hybrid and Energi models. The overwhelming majority, around 22,900 units, were sold in the US, while the remaining 900 units are in Canada. How many of each model are covered in the recall is not immediately clear.
