Ok Ladies and Gentlemen, here is a car you won't find every day. Yes, I know everywhere you look there are Mustangs. (One reason I am selling mine) This car is not the normal burgundy that a lot of Mustangs are. It's a totally different color. It has Cobra R wheels that shine like no other. The car has been lowered, has those pretty and expensive caster/camber plates there on top of the struts. Makes it adjustable, you can lower it and raise it with those, looks great where it is. I bought the car and it had not been lined up after the lowering so I took it to the shop and they aligned it and I put 2 new tires on the front. The car has Halo headlights which are beautiful and add to the car. Also has red LED under glow, beautiful at night. It is the 5.0 5 speed with a Hurst short throw shifter. Has awesome exhaust, not irritating loud but with plenty of growl! It's a GT with the Cobra front bumper and hood, looks amazing, pictures do not do this car justice. The car has all MSD ignition and coil. Also has 4:10 gears in the rear. As for the inside it has a worn spot on the drivers seat on the bottom part from in and out. Other than that it looks like it was never sat in, other than the spot on the bottom of the seat (pictured) the interior is completely flawless. Even still has the Mustang floor mats! It has a Kenwood CD player with all the inputs. The car has tail lights from a '96 or so because they look better. It leaks absolutely nothing. This is a very nice car, it will probably hit 64,000 miles by the time this listing is done. This car is truly amazing. The main reason I am selling it is because I am 37 years old and I am tired of the kids with mustangs wanting to race me everywhere I go. I don't and won't run the car like that. Some of the pics show a louver on the back window which I took off, car looks much better without it. And it had MSD stickers on the rear side glass, removed those also. Thanks for looking and if you have any questions at all feel free to ask. $300 NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT DUE WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THE END OF THE AUCTION VIA PAYPAL UNLESS OTHER ARRANGEMENTS ARE MADE BETWEEN ME AND YOU PRIOR TO BIDDING!! I will not ship this car. If you need help with that I have a buddy who owns a wrecker service, he would be happy to put it on his roll back and bring it to you, his number is 812-547-5200. If you bid, make sure you are willing to pay. DO NOT bid with 0 feedback, please message me first or your bid will be cancelled. This car is also up for sale or trade locally, I have the right to cancel this auction at any time. So if you are gonna bid, bid now! For sale signs are going in in the next couple days. Thanks for looking!! In the pics it has a dealer plate on it, this car DOES NOT belong to a car lot. I have access to dealer plates, car is now licensed with my personalized plate.

I am sorry I forgot to mention, the ABS light is on on the car, almost everyone I know with a mustang has it on also. And the Air Bag light is on. I was told by multiple ppl including a body shop that it was because when the aftermarket cobra bumper was put on, they had to unplug the sensor and plug it back in, this caused the light to come on. The airbags are fine, and have never been deployed. Not a big deal, just wanted to let you know. Thanks and happy bidding!!

Martini Mustang is a 'what if moment' gone right
Wed, 23 Oct 2013Feast your eyes on a masterpiece. This is Steve Strope's Ford Mustang in the classic fastback bodystyle, and as you'll notice, it sports the signature colors of Martini Racing, a livery that's as legendary as any Gulf Racing-styled car. But the red, white and blues of the Martini stripe down this Mustang's middle tell only a very small part of the story, in the latest video from Petrolicious.
What would you guess is under the hood? A 289-cubic-inch V8? Maybe a 302, or some absurd Ford crate engine? Maybe Strope went all Tokyo Drift - he's actually responsible for the "Hammer" Plymouth Satellite driven by Vin Diesel at the end of the movie - and found an RB26DETT to drop into the pony car? You'd be wrong on all counts.
This mad, mad man somehow finagled a Ford-Lotus engine from a 1966 Indianapolis 500 car into the Mustang's engine bay. Yes, a Mustang with an engine designed for a 160-mile-per-hour, open-wheel racecar. That's like someone in 40 years dropping McLaren's 2.4-liter V8 from the MP4-28 into a Scion FR-S. It'd just make a monster.
Ford Explorer, Expedition next to go aluminum?
Sun, 13 Apr 2014Ford made some serious waves when it unveiled the latest F-150. Instead of making its bodywork out of steel, like just about every other truck on the market, Ford went with aluminum. And you can bet the F-150 won't be the last Ford model to go with the lightweight alloy construction, either.
Our compatriots at Edmunds report that Dearborn is considering replacing two of its most popular SUVs with aluminum versions. One candidate is the Expedition, which would make sense considering that the current model (like the two preceding generations and the fullsize Bronco before it) is based on the F-150's underpinnings. Another is the Explorer, which was traditionally based on the Ranger pickup but went with a car-like unibody chassis in its current iteration. If the Explorer does go the way of aluminum, don't expect it to be a part of its very next update, which is likely due too soon for such major changes.
It would stand to reason that, if the Expedition were to go aluminum, so would the next-generation Lincoln Navigator. Ditto the MKT together with the Explorer. But those aren't likely to be the only models in contention for aluminum construction. Like any other automaker, Ford is under pressure to steadily reduce its carbon emissions and improve its fuel economy figures, prompting it to look at a whole range of measures - including more efficient engines, lower rolling-resistance tires, active aerodynamics and lightweight construction. Expect aluminum to play a big part in that equation moving forward.
Find out if the Ford Fiesta ST can match Europe's latest hot hatches
Tue, 11 Feb 2014The V8 grunt of the Mustang has defined Ford performance cars in the US for the last 50 years, but in Europe, the Blue Oval has nearly as a long history of building some of the best hot hatches on the market with the Fiesta, Escort and later the Focus. The latest Fiesta ST has just hit the roads on both sides of the pond and has been enthusiastically received thanks to its combination of a peppy, turbocharged engine and hatchback utility.
However, Europe is getting a bumper crop of hot hatches at the moment, including the forthcoming, third-generation Mini Cooper S. Should Ford have waited to launch the ST until it knew how the competition performed? That's the answer that Xcar is after in its latest video, and it took the Fiesta to the track and some very misty, Welsh roads to find out. Scroll down to find out whether the ST stacks up.
