New 347 Stroker Super Charged ( 3-4 K miles on new motor) New TKO 600 Trans. Long tub BBK headers all types of gauges. to much to list. I just had the Cobra painted in and out factory new sanded down to meta ( 9K dollar value ). Very clean. New Cobra carpets and all. This car is a one of a kind car. It gets a lot of attention every time I take it out. I live in an area were there are million dollar cars driving around, but when I take my 93 Cobra out all jaws drop. I have invested around 40K so far. I'm not expecting to get what I put in. It will be sold to somebody soon. Good luck to all the bidders."

I took the weekend off and drove the car from San Francisco to Los Angeles and back. Car drove very smooth did not over heat and was very fun. Mustang Alley is where to corral your pony at the Woodward Dream Cruise

Thu, Sep 17 2015

Car Club USA travels to metro Detroit for the Woodward Dream Cruise, where Ford fans descend upon on Mustang Alley, situated at 9 Mile and Woodward. While the cruise welcomes cars of all makes and models, Mustang Alley invites owners to show off their 'Stangs while commingling with the engineers and designers who created the iconic pony car. "We got very excited as we worked on the (original) model and it was competition among ourselves," said clay modeler Giuliano Zuccato who worked on the first generation Mustang. "This is going to be a very special car." Of course, no Mustang video is complete without some high-speed fun. For that, we head to nearby Waterford Hills Raceway where road course newbie Jeff Bayer looks to push his modified 2010 Mustang GT to the limit. "I've kind of babied the car a little bit," said Jeff. "And I decided after having it for five years it's time to put some hard laps on it." Will Jeff and his 430 horsepower pony make it back in one piece? Each Car Club USA episode features a different car club or event from across the US, where passionate owner communities gather to share automotive experiences and embark on incredible adventures. From Main Street cruises to off-road trails, catch all the latest car club activity on Autoblog.

Leno drives Henry Ford II's all-original '52 Ferrari 212 Barchetta

Tue, 17 Jun 2014

The story of the relationship between Henry Ford II and Enzo Ferrari is absolutely fascinating. The two great men of the auto industry had what appeared to be a burgeoning friendship until Ferrari pulled out of a deal to sell his company to Ford in the '60s. The latest car featured in Jay Leno's Garage is a 1952 Ferrari 212 Barchetta that tells the very beginnings of that story.
This Prancing Horse was a gift to Ford from Enzo when the two companies were first thinking about merging, according to the curator of the Petersen Automotive Museum. Ferrari really wanted to show off its best so instead of the 212's normal V12, this car was fitted with the larger 2.7-liter unit from a Ferrari 225. The car has been almost unaltered since then. It still wears its original paint, and it's tires date back to 1954.
The great thing about the Petersen is that unlike a lot of auto museums, the people there actually drive the cars and keep them in working order. Once on the road with Leno behind the wheel, this Ferrari really sings. Unfortunately, he can't open it up too much because the 60-year-old tires really hold things back. Scroll down to watch this amazing piece of automotive history and learn it's possible effect on the styling of the original Ford Thunderbird.

Ford 3D-printing Mustang out of chocolate and candy for Valentine's Day

Thu, 13 Feb 2014

Is your beloved in love with the new 2015 Ford Mustang? Do they like chocolate (that's a trick question - everyone likes chocolate)? Are they a bit of a futurist? Then this Hallmark holiday, you need to get them this Ford Mustang, 3D-printed in sweet, delicious chocolate.
Ford is teaming with 3D Systems' Sugar Lab in LA to produce the super-accurate pony car confections in both chocolate and sugar candy varieties. The process kicked off with a CAD rendering of the 2015 Mustang, which was then programmed into the 3D printer. After a bit of work from the machine, a four-inch long, two-inch tall Mustang was the result. Why the tieup with 3D Systems, though?
"We wanted to create something fun to show that while 3D printing made these edible Mustangs, manufacturing-level 3D printing was used in the development of Ford's all-new sports car," said Paul Susalla, Ford's supervisor of 3D printing.
