Feel free to ask me any questions about the car : dawnadkkirchner@rangersfans.com .

Up for sale is my 1992 Mustang. It has a new 331 stroker motor, about 2000 miles since build. Shortblock was
custom built by RGR Racing Engines in Illinois (Dart Block). The top end and final assembly was done by Justin's
Performance Center in Millersville, Md (JPC). Car was dyno tuned by Andrew Johnston at Adrenaline Auto in
Frederick, Md. Total cost of the engine build was around $15K.
I have the parts list and bill of sale. The car has 42,500 original miles. I bought the car in November 2011.
When I bought it, it was a totally stock 5.0 car.
NOTE - Some of the pictures show an aftermarket radio. Car will be sold with the factory radio. No hole were
drilled in the console to install the aftermarket radio. Aftermarket radio is installed with sticky Velcro strips.
Some pictures also show the driver's seat with a neoprene seat cover.
Car was disassembled and painted last year. The 12" Lemans stripes are painted on and clear coated. The paint job
also included installing brand new (factory tooled) front and rear bumpers. There was nothing wrong with the
original bumpers other than being a bit warped from age. The original front bumper also had holes drilled for the
front license plate. New bumper does not have license plate holes.
There is a link to a walk around video on YouTube. /watch?v=S3y8UcXsmxI

Here is what I know about the vehicle history. This history is based on what the previous owner told me,
along with what I’ve gleaned from documentation, and from the Internet. The car was originally purchased by a 62
year old man in St. Louis in November 1991 from Sunset Ford. He owned the car up until his death in 2002 (the car
had 21,xxx miles at the time of his death). His nephew, who lived about a mile away, took ownership of the car in
June 2002.

Alan Mulally talks about why Ford's Falcon had to die

Tue, 20 Aug 2013

When Ford made the decision to end production of the Falcon sedan and Territory CUV in Australia, it wasn't a popular move Down Under. The large, four-door Falcon had been in production for 50 years, and while Ford has reaffirmed its commitment to the Australian market, it's understandable that some people still aren't all that crazy about the Blue Oval's decision.
Speaking to CEO Alan Mulally after Ford's Go Further event in Sydney, Australian site Go Auto reports that the decision was not one made lightly, and that the automaker is doing everything possible to respect the Falcon and Territory's "stakeholders." It's an interesting piece that shows a softer side of a corporation, while demonstrating that Ford is doing everything in its power to make the end of production as smooth as possible for all parties.
Head over to Go Auto for the full series of remarks from Mulally, and then let us know what you think of Ford's handling of the Falcon and Territory discontinuations, in Comments.

Ford reports $3B profit in Q4, $6.9B for the year

Tue, 28 Jan 2014

Good news out of Dearborn today, as Ford announced $3 billion in profit for the last quarter of 2013, a 90-percent increase over the same period of 2012. Net income for all of last year, meanwhile, jumped to $7.2 billion from $5.7 billion in 2012, while pre-tax profits sat at a decade-topping $6.9 billion for all of 2013.
The results of the substantial profit increases are bigger profit-sharing checks for UAW employees. How big? A record $8,800 on average for 47,000 UAW workers, making 2013 the biggest year for profit sharing in Ford history. In total, $414 million will be paid as part of the profit-sharing scheme.
Now, it should be pointed out that a fair portion of Ford's Q4 profits were due to tax benefits, totaling $2.1 billion, according to Automotive News. Total profits would have also been higher, had there not been a significant recall on the Escape, as well as plant issues in South America.

Ford recalling 2015 Mustang for fuel line leak, 20K Transit Connects for plastic panel

Fri, Dec 5 2014

Ford is recalling 738 examples of the 2015 2015 Mustang with the 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine – 712 in the US, 16 in Canada. A fuel pressure sensor might have been installed incorrectly on the affected cars, and that could result in a fuel leak. At the time of writing the company hasn't heard any reports of any incidents related to the issue, and parties with affected vehicles can take them to the dealer to have the fuel tube assembly replaced free of charge. The 2014 Transit Connect Cargo Van is also the subject of a safety recall, due to a possible problem with adhesive used on the exterior plastic panel on the sliding doors. There are 19,825 units covered by that recall, which dealers will also repair free of charge. You can find more information on both bulletins in the press releases below. Ford Issues Safety Recall for Certain 2015 Mustang Vehicles in North America for Fuel Pressure Sensor Issue Dec 4, 2014 | DEARBORN, Mich. - Ford is issuing a safety recall for approximately 730 2015 Ford Mustang vehicles in North America (actual 728) for a potential fuel line leak. A fuel pressure sensor, which is part of the fuel supply tube assembly, may have been installed incorrectly, potentially resulting in a pressurized fuel leak. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source may result in a fire. Ford is not aware of any fires, accidents or injuries related to this condition. Affected vehicles include certain 2015 Ford Mustangs equipped with 2.3-liter engines built at Flat Rock Assembly Plant, Sept. 25, 2014 to Oct. 9, 2014. Ford is aware of 712 vehicles in the United States and federalized territories and 16 in Canada. These totals are as of Dec. 3, 2014. Dealers will replace the fuel supply tube assembly at no cost to the customer. *** Ford Issues Safety Recall for Certain 2014 Transit Connect Cargo Van Vehicles in North America for Issue with the Plastic Panel on the Sliding Doors Dec 4, 2014 | DEARBORN, Mich. - Ford is issuing a safety recall for approximately 20,000 2014 Transit Connect cargo van vehicles in North America (actual 19,825) for an issue with adhesion of an exterior plastic panel to the sliding doors. This issue may result in noise, a water leak, a loose panel, or separation of the plastic panel from the vehicle while driving, potentially increasing the risk of an accident or injury. Ford is not aware of any accidents or injuries related to this condition.
