More infos regarding my car at: evelyne.toro@expressmail.dk .

I have the Elite Marti Report. I have the title.

This mustang is one of Ford's "Color of the Month" promotional cars. The original color is "Coral". (This is
documented on the Marti Report as special paint. Also there is no paint code on the door plate).

This car was originally purchased by Marck Motors in El Cajon, CA to be used as a Thrifty Automotive Group (TAG)
Rent-a-Car. (This is documented on the Marti Report original window sticker).

This car is stock with the exception of a mild transmission shift kit and "Classis Auto Air" A/C compressor.

Driven a little over 300 Miles on professionally restored / rebuilt, new mechanicals. The engine was ran on a
Dyno to break it in prior to install in the car. (I have the paperwork)

Numbers matching, engine and transmission with stamped VIN. Engine, Transmission and Rear Axle metal tags match
components. (I personally verified this).

Over $23,000 spent on restoration projects. I have the receipts and an outlined spreadsheet which show detailed
costs.

All of the mechanicals were professionally restored / rebuilt and assembled. Paperwork on request.

Here are a few items that were professionally restored / rebuilt or factory style installed new. Engine,
Original carburetor, radiator, Original distributor(with Pertronix), voltage regulator, starter solenoid, Autolite
battery, transmission, front and rear complete brakes including the master cylinder and booster, front and rear
suspension including shocks, Original driveline, rear axle bearings and seals, complete exhaust system which is
factory style dual. Complete "Classic Auto Air" Heat and A/C system minus the dash control which is original.
Classic Auto Air restored the heater A/C box. Power steering pump and alternator. Carpet, with no rust underneath.
Starter, torque converter and flywheel.

The paint is in good condition but dated. If I kept it, I would have it painted.

The glass appears original by the markings. The door felt is new and all of the window mechanisms have been
reworked/fixed. The rear window seal is new. The front windshield seal needs replaced, which I have the seal, just
needs done.

All interior, exterior and dash lights/dummy lights work.

All Gauges work.

AM Radio works.

No rust, solid body car.

It's believed that the cars mileage of 68,100 is correct. The person who appraised it (Aldridge Motorsports)
felt it was probably correct based on the condition.

Weekly Recap: Auto execs face life in prison for recall delays under proposed legislation

Sat, 09 Aug 2014

The stiff punishments are part of broader transportation legislation, but clearly McCaskill has automakers in her sights.
Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill threw down the gauntlet this week, proposing a bill that could send auto executives to prison for life if they were found to have delayed a recall. She also wants to eliminate the limit for fines for auto safety violations, which are currently capped at $35 million.

2014 Ford F-150 Tremor adds some sport to shake things up

Thu, 27 Jun 2013

Like most quakes, the 2014 Ford F-150 Tremor caught us by surprise. We weren't expecting Ford to offer up another version of its best-seller so soon before the truck's full redesign, but that's exactly what the company is doing.
While Ford calls the Tremor a "performance truck," the new pickup doesn't play on the same level as the SVT Raptor does on dirt, or even the long-gone SVT Lightning did on pavement. Think of it as a parts bin sport truck that probably does a better job looking the part than acting it. The Tremor utilizes the same twin-turbo, 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 available across the F-150 lineup, producing 365 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque, but matches it with a 4.10 rear axle - the shortest final drive ratio you can get in an F-150 - for the strongest possible acceleration.
The Tremor does do a decent job looking the part. Available only in short-wheelbase, regular cab configuration with your choice of two- or four-wheel drive, it struts around wearing the F-150's FX Appearance Package, flat black accents, 20-inch black wheels, HID headlights and a special exterior graphics package. The Tremor is the only regular cab F-150 with a flow-through center console, which means it also gets a floor-mounted shifter and bucket seats that are covered in black leather with red piping. Some brushed metal accents and steering wheel with red stitching round out the interior upgrades.

Ford to show special edition Raptor on April 9

Mon, 01 Apr 2013

There are precious few details, but what we do know is that Ford will be revealing images of "appearance upgrades" for a special-edition 2014 F-150 SVT Raptor on April 9. The slideshow will happen during a Motor Press Guild luncheon at Ford's Design Center Showroom in Irvine, California.
Without photos or further details, we're left to wonder about the extent of these changes, but aren't expecting anything too significant given the venue. Ford is understood to be revealing a next-generation F-150 with a big weight loss - as much as 700 pounds - for 2014, though it isn't yet clear if that's the truck's model year or simply its on-sale year. For at least a couple of years, Ford forums have been suggesting changes will come with the 2014 Raptor, so there could still be a bigger surprise in store. Either way, we'll know what all this means in a little more than a week. The press release below has the official details, but for the moment, we'll content ourselves by ogling the 2013 model above.
