This is a Fiberglass tub and the frame from Total Performance with their vin# built in 1994 and the car is titled as a 1923. The wheels are a new set of Billet Specialties Rat tails wrapped with Michelin Pilot tires, the front is 18"x7" and the rears are 20"x12". Brake system uses Wilwood disc dual piston calipers up front and drum on the rear. Front end suspension is a suicide style completely chrome axle, leaf spring, steering rods and radius rods too. The rear is a ford axle w/ 3rd member with chrome ladder bar and coilover shocks and a watts-link for stability. Power Plant is a Chevy 350 engine with performance double hump heads and a Edelbrock 650cfm carb. Brand new Edelbrock Endurashine intake manifold, has new mallory distributor, electric fan for cooling and all new billet pulleys for the single belt to run the alternator which is a low mount down by the frame. The transmission is a turbo 350 automatic with a floor shifter runs nice and smooth cruising as well as running on the highway 75-80 mph at around 2500rpm. This car doesn't wander all over the road it tracks straight and handles well. It has been completely rewired with a new Haywire pro-t harness. The fuse panel and battery are located below the seat. At the same time I installed new Lincoln Zephyr LED tail lights with the rapid fire option so they flash 3 short burst before they go solid bright when you apply the brakes. The head lights park lights and gauge lights all work flawlessly. There is also a new switch for operating the lights 3 positions for park lights, driving low beams and high beams. The turn signals are wired but have not been hooked up to a switch yet as I am searching for a switch to fit the holes that already exist near the gauges. It also has new ignition switch installed with spare keys. The interior has been all redone with a marine grade material so that it doesn't fade or have issues if it gets wet. The back has a covered panel to match with a flush mount billet gas cap to fill up. The mirrors on the car are 1930-31 model A stud mounted custom fit to the windshield brackets. They are perfect to see out of and allow you to drive safely on the road. Lastly this car is a lot of fun and grabs attention everywhere you go. This car is extremely reliable and does not have any issues. I trust it to drive it anywhere and I do. It has been garage kept at all times. I am selling this 1923 T without warranty of any kind. If the car is being shipped, the buyer is responsible of the shipping cost and shipping arrangements. I will make myself available for the car to be picked up in my city Chandler, Az

Ford Everest Concept shows China also has an affinity for big trucks

Mon, 21 Apr 2014

The Ford Everest Concept SUV at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show shows the future of the Blue Oval's truck line in China. While a concept for now, we're told that JMC, Ford's Chinese joint-venture partner, will build a production version sometime in the near future.
With design from Ford's Asia Pacific design team, the handsome seven-passenger SUV shows off some very muscular styling with wraparound headlights that hook into the contours of the angular trapezoidal grille. The beltline rises up the body in the rear and makes the back appear higher than the front. The rear is made from hard, chiseled contours that give the truck a very tough look. The Everest looks ready for some rough roads.
Ford is keeping the interior and mechanical details about the Everest a secret for now, but the SUV is rumored to share some components with the overseas Ranger pickup. The company has no plans to sell the truck in North America. Scroll down to read the official announcement, including the few details on its production.

Ford will put solid axles under the Bronco as the off-roading gods intended

Wed, Jan 25 2017

We've been wondering what sort of creature the Bronco would be since we first heard of the thing last October, when a union chairman spilled the beans on the SUV and the Ranger pickup. Ford confirmed a 2020 arrival date for the Bronco at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show, but at that point pretty much all we were sure of was that the Ranger and Bronco would be returning. The open question would be how hungry Ford was to spoil the Jeep Wrangler's solo party as a compact(ish) off-roader with dual solid axles, since the easiest thing would be to carry over the suspension design of the presumably related international Ford Ranger and its Everest SUV version: independent front suspension with either a leaf- (Ranger) or coil-suspended (Everest) solid rear axle. Enter Dana, the long-time supplier of Jeep stick axles, to confirm that the 2020 Bronco is getting a pair of them. That means solid axles front and rear, just like under a Wrangler. So reports Automotive News, citing an investor presentation from Dana. All signs so far, such as the report that the Bronco would be engineered by the same team in Australia that created the Ranger pickup, indicated that the Bronco would share a platform with the Ranger and thus be body-on-frame. The solid axle confirmation essentially confirms that theory. Some off-road-capable vehicles have paired solid axles with unibody frames, like the Jeep Cherokee (XJ generation) and Grand Cherokee (ZJ and WJ generations), but they are outliers. Generally, if you've got solid axles at both ends, they're going in a vehicle with a ladder frame. It also lends credence to the notion that our Bronco won't simply be an imported Everest, which might be too understated to stand out from lesser crossovers anyways. This is good news if you have Blue Oval in your blood and pine for a modern SUV that'll show up the Jeep guys on the trail. Less directly, it could mean a wholesale assault on the formula that makes Jeeps successful in the first place: the massive aftermarket of off-roading equipment and dress-up bits that appeal to Jeep buyers almost as much as a Trail Rated badge. At a minimum, Bronco enthusiasts can breathe easy that the reborn SUV won't merely be a light-duty crossover with styling "inspired" by true off-roaders. There's still a lot left to learn about the Bronco. Keep up to date with our running summary of everything we know about the returning off-roader.
