WELCOME TO MY AUCTION OF A VERY RARE 1925 FORD MODEL TT FORD TON TRUCK C CAB EXPRESS PICK UP. THIS WAS A RECENT PURCHASE OF MINE TO PLAY AROUND WITH AND FIX THE LITTLE THINGS AS I CAN BUT  WITH MY HOURS BEING CUT AT WORK I HAVE TO SELL THIS BEFORE THINGS GET WORSE FOR US. WHEN I GOT THE TRUCK IT HAD BEEN SITTING IN STORAGE FOR YEARS AND SUFFERED BUMPS AND BRUISES TO THE EXTERIOR OVER TIME AND HAD NOT BEEN ON THE ROAD FOR 10 YEARS. I WENT THRU THE NORMAL ITEMS YOU DO TO BRING A CAR BACK AND IT IS JUST ABOUT PARADE READY NOW. IT WILL DRIVE DOWN THE ROAD NOW BUT NEEDS SOME FINE TUNING ON THE TRANSMISSION BANDS AND REAR BRAKES. FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND THE TRUCK WAS RESTORED AND WAS USED IN A FORD DEALERSHIP AS A DISPLAY AND GENERAL PROMOTIONS. WHEN THE DEALERSHIP CLOSED THE TRUCK WAS PUT INTO A WAREHOUSE AND FORGOTTEN. I DON'T KNOW THE EXTENT OF THE RESTORATION OTHER THAN THE COSMETICS. IF THERE IS A DOWNSIDE TO THE TRUCK IT IS THE OLD LAQUER PAINT JOB WICH HAS BECOME BRITTLE AND CRACKED AND THE TIRES ALTHOUGH SHOWING NO WEAR HAVE CRACKED FROM SITTING BUT DON'T LEAK. IT HAS BEEN TOUCHED UP AT SOME POINT AND REALLY LOOKS GOOD GOING DOWN THE ROAD. I PUT SOME MONEY INTO IT GETTING IT RUNNING BUT IT DIDN'T NEED MUCH. THIS WILL START AND DRIVE FORWARD AND REVERSE BUT DOES NOT STOP VERY WELL AND NEEDS WORK IN THAT AREA. BUT MODEL TT 'S NEVER DID STOP DID THEY ? AN AUXILLARY MUNCIE TRANSMISSION WAS ADDED FOR 30 MPH + SPEEDS IF YOU'RE THAT BRAVE. NO FUEL, OIL OR COOLANT LEAKS . THE FUEL TANK HAS BEEN REPAIRED AND SEALED. NEW BATTERY , IGNITION SWITCH TOO AND I HAVE THE ORIGINAL IF YOU WANT TO REBUILD IT. THE TRUCK IS LOCATED NEAR HAYWARD, WI.

RULES OF THE ROAD : PAYMENT IN FULL 3 DAYS FROM AUCTION END IN THE FORM OF CASH IN PERSON OR BANK TO BANK WIRE TRANSFER. THE TRUCK CAN SIT HERE FOR 30 DAYS AT NO CHARGE WHILE YOU ARRANGE SHIPPING. IF YOU MUST HAVE THIS TRUCK RIGHT NOW FEEL FREE TO MAKE AN OFFER !

Dodge Challenger outsold Mustang, Camaro in third quarter of 2019

Fri, Oct 4 2019

The Dodge Challenger is nearly old enough to start driver's ed in some states, and it doesn't have a firm grasp on the increasingly crucial concept of downsizing, yet it beat the odds to become the most popular American two-door model during the third quarter of 2019. Its ballooning sales figures suggest buyers don't always want the latest, most advanced car they can get their hands on. Dodge sold 18,031 examples of the Challenger during the third quarter of 2019, a shocking 21% increase over the same period in 2018. It's a true muscle car, normally sardined in the same can as the Chevrolet Camaro and the Ford Mustang, a pair of smaller, nimbler two-doors that are much closer to the historic definition of a pony car. Semantics aside, the Mustang finished on the second spot of the sales podium with 16,823 sales, a 12.3% drop compared to the third quarter of 2018, and the Camaro took third with 12,275 sales, a 15% dip that alarmingly comes in the wake of two redesigns. More specific sales figures aren't available. We don't know what percentage of the sales mix V8s represent, or whether buyers prefer manual or automatic transmissions. The scoreboard looks different when we examine 2019's year-to-date figures. The Mustang takes first place with 55,365 sales, followed by the Challenger at 46,699, and the Camaro at 36,791. While the Challenger's recent ascent is encouraging, it can't mask the fact that two-door models no longer enjoy a favorable tailwind, and the entire segment — not just the American entries — is declining. The aforementioned year-to-date figures are down by 10.1, 11, and 7.6 percent, respectively. The third-quarter statistics revealed a handful of other surprises unrelated to the world of performance. Dodge notably sold three examples of the Dart, a sedan it hasn't built since 2016. That's a 93% drop compared to the 45 units that found a home during the third quarter of 2018.

V8-powered 2022 Ford F-150 Raptor R spied testing alongside Ram TRX

Wed, Apr 7 2021

Spy photographers captured Ford engineers testing what appears to be a 2022 F-150 Raptor R alongside a Ram TRX this week, giving us a sneak preview of the first major battle in the coming war for super-pickup dominance.  Ford has remained tight-lipped about the Raptor R's performance specs. We know only that it will be powered by a V8 (likely a variant of the 760-horsepower, supercharged 5.2-liter unit from the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500), and that it's due to break cover some time later this year. Given that the 702-horsepower Ram TRX will be the Raptor R's only competition (and pretty much the only reason it exists in the first place), Ford's decision to benchmark the fast Ram is a bit of a no-brainer.  The Blue Oval's performance engineers have years of practice when it comes to building high-performance off-road trucks, so despite Ram's first-strike advantage and Hellcat trump card, the TRX might actually be the underdog in this fight. Why? Well, based on what we've seen of the EcoBoost-powered 2021 Raptor so far, it should weigh at least 500-600 pounds less than the TRX, and while we expect that gap to shrink with the addition of the bigger engine, it's likely that it will still favor Ford, and perhaps significantly.  While the larger, supercharged V8 will certainly weigh more than the EcoBoost V6, it's still an all-aluminum engine (all SRT motors are based on cast-iron blocks) and Ford still has the advantage of its lightweight body panels. There will likely be more to the Raptor R's chassis modifications than a new set of engine mounting points, since the existing Raptor was not engineered to handle an 800-horsepower engine, but even with the chassis modifications necessary to handle that power, we expect the Raptor R to be the featherweight of the two.  Since Ford plans to get the Raptor R into production for the 2022 model year, we shouldn't have to wait much longer to find out just exactly how it shapes up against Ram's big dinosaur. Stay tuned. Related video: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings.

Carmakers, NHTSA to unveil auto-emergency braking agreement tomorrow

Wed, Mar 16 2016

Happy St. Patrick's Day Eve. Tomorrow, there will be green beer, corned beef and cabbage, and automatic emergency braking for all. Weird combo, we know. But on St. Patty's we can expect an official announcement from a pact of automakers making auto-braking systems standard equipment by 2022. That's per a report from Reuters, which cites three sources familiar with the plans. Originally announced in September 2015 by 10 automakers and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the agreement is expected to be even larger when the details are unveiled tomorrow. According to Reuters, the manufacturers of 99 percent of the US domestic market's vehicles will be represented by the new agreement. It's believed that standard AEB systems could prevent thousands of accidents across the country. Expect more on the official announcement when it's made. Related Video:
