This is a 1930 FORD MODEL A ROADSTER PICKUP with dual spare fender tire carriers, has a running 4 cylinder gas original motor, 3 spd. manual transmission that appears to work okay, has four good regular tires on the ground & two mud/snow tires for winter use mounted in the front fender carriers, has metal spoke wheels with stainles beauty rings, good soft top, wing windows, tilt out windshield. The gas tank has just been removed, recoated inside with a new gas gage installed, new amp meter mounted in the dash, new points, dist. cap and rotor button, new coil, new battery just installed. I have some new parts not installed to go with the truck like new head light wiring harness, new terminal box and cover plus some used parts. The speedmeter cable is missing, so don't know if it works or not, new amp meter has been mounted in dash but wires need to be connected. I have owned the truck for 8 years but have driven it very little, been sitting in my shop most of this time, i just have too many projects going and we are planning on relocating to another state soon. This vehicle still needs some work but it can be a fun project and fun to drive.

Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 has a bit of a dyno issue
Tue, 28 May 2013We're of the mind that each and every dyno should come with Murphy's Law painted in big, visible letters down the side. For every ten successful dyno runs out there, it seems there's one where events to horribly wrong. Take, for example, the video below. The clip shows what happens when a Ford Shelby GT500 and a mobile dyno have a bit of a disagreement at the Performance Expo 24 in Sherbrooke, Quebec. We won't spoil the results for you, but we will say there's some substantial carnage involved.
It's unclear just how much damage ensues from the dust up or whether anyone was harmed in the incident, but from the looks of things, everyone made it out without serious injury. If only we could say the same for the machines involved. Check out the video below.
Watch a drone try to land in back of a moving 2015 Ford F-150 at night
Fri, Apr 3 2015Automotive stunts don't always have to make sense; they just have to look cool. Does it really prove anything about the bed lighting in the 2015 Ford F-150 to attempt to land a drone back there while driving at night? Probably not, but Ford Canada wants to find out anyway, because the trick looks good on film. Chris Bacik is an expert at flying drones and even builds his own to use for his aerial cinematography company. As Ford Canada's very serious narrator intones, the question now is whether he can use those piloting skills to land on a moving F-150 in the dark. To make things even harder, the night of the stunt is quite windy. Even if the video demonstrates little about the truck's capabilities, it's fun to see if Bacik can do accomplish the feat. Ford could use Raptor name on Ranger in Australia
Sun, Jun 14 2015Ford might be flying the Raptor name into the market Down Under, but rather than on a high-performance F-150, the aggressive moniker could be used for a mean Ranger. The Australia-based site Car Advice recently spotted the Blue Oval testing a modified Ranger over some off-road terrain. The pickup was equipped with a snorkel over the roof for wading into deep water, a brush bar to protect the front, a higher ride height, and fender flares. The regular version of the truck launches Down Under later this year, including the somewhat rugged Wildtrak trim level (pictured above). So where does the Raptor name fit into this? Ford filed a trademark in Australia on June 5 for the Ranger Raptor. There's no guarantee for that as the truck's moniker, though. As of May 28, the Blue Oval also owns the right to the Ranger FX4 title. Although, don't start saving yet. With the Ranger remaining unavailable outside of the US for the latest generation, there's no chance of a Ranger Raptor coming here. Hopefully, Aussie off-roaders get plenty of enjoyment out of the truck, if it sees production. Related Video:
