I do not have the storage capabilities to keep my A protected from the winter this year so here it is!

I bought it as a stalled project from the previous owner.  My plan was to set the body on a Av8 chassis that I have been working on.  Life happens so my plans have been stalled for the time being.

I know Henry made a million of them but ripping apart a fairly complete car is hard for me to do.  I will not say this is a rust free car but the rust [surface rust] looks to be concentrated to the underside of the car.  As you walk around the car there is no apparent rust through on the body.  The paint is very presentable.  The running boards are the only part of the car that I found rust out.  The fenders do have a few bumps and bruises along with a few stress cracks normal for a 84 year old Model A.  The bottoms of the rear fenders were tweaked while being loaded or unloaded off a trailer on one of the trips made to have the car inspected by the MN DMV so the lost title could be reissued.  I do have a clear title for the car issued in 2012.  There is a marking on the title that the title is a bonded title.

The top had been replaced late in the cars life and looks very nice.

The interior looks to be all there.  It has the rear bench seat and front buckets that are dirty and stained.  I believe all the original pieces for the floor are there.  The glass is all intact but there are some cracks in some of the glass.  The doors open and close like new.

The tires look to have very few miles on them.  They are old and have been sitting and at least one of the tubes has a slow leak so that tire likes to go flat.

The prior owner removed and had the original engine rebuilt and put back in place.  That is where the project stalled.  The radiator and grill shell were never put back into place and the engine was never fired up.  The prior owner had the car since 2002 so that work was completed between then and in 2012 when I purchased the car.  I have never looked into the engine any further because I was not planning on keeping the original chassis for my project.

I will help with your shipping logistics as well as I can.  My schedule is free most any evening [Monday to Saturday] but daytime hours are very limited.  I may be able to assist with delivery within an hour of Minneapolis.

Ken Block hoons his Ford F-150 RaptorTrax on the slopes

Wed, 08 Oct 2014

Ken Block drives Fords. Hoons the heck out of 'em, actually. Mostly Fiestas, but also the occasional Focus or Mustang. But earlier this year, the Gymkhana guru revealed his baddest Ford yet: an F-150 SVT Raptor on tracks. And true to form, here he is putting it to the test in the latest video from Monster Energy and Hoonigan Racing.
Filmed at Baldface Lodge in Nelson, BC, the video pairs Block up with snowboarders Zak Hale and Ethan Deiss for some deep-powder action. You'll want to watch the video for yourself, but the bottom line is that the RaptorTrax beats the heck out of waiting on line for the ski lift. It's enough to make us start to look forward to winter... almost.

Ford celebrates 1 millionth Mustang built at Flat Rock

Thu, 18 Apr 2013

Yesterday, the Ford Mustang turned 49 years old, and Ford didn't miss the opportunity to celebrate the one millionth version of the Mustang rolling off the assembly line at the Flat Rock Assembly plant. Production of the Mustang at Flat Rock coincided with the fifth-generation design launching in 2004, and the one millionth car was the car shown above, a 2014 GT convertible painted in Ruby Red.
In total, Ford has sold more than 8.5 million Mustangs since the original car went on sale, but some of the key milestones over the car's nine years at Flat Rock include the Shelby GT-H, Bullitt, Boss 302 and, of course, the 662-horsepower Shelby GT500. Scroll down for a press release celebrating Flat Rock's milestone Mustang.

Hot Wheels' 2022 Green Speed cars bring EVs to small scale

Sun, Apr 24 2022

With more and more EVs hitting the market, it was only a matter of time before the new breed of cars would find representation in diecast form. For 2022, Hot Wheels is coming out with a new Green Speed series that puts the spotlight on a diverse lineup of electric cars. The five-car series features a fun mix of EVs from different manufacturers and in a wide range of styles. Some are completely bone stock. For a traditional luxury sedan, there's a Lucid Air in silver, complete with glass (or in this case, clear plastic) canopy. For fans of Teutonic 4-door "coupes" there's the Audi RS e-Tron GT in Daytona Gray. Ticking the truck box is a Hummer EV in a yellow that can only be described as a throwback to the H3. But because this is Hot Wheels, there are "hot-rodded" variants in the lineup as well. Rather than just a regular Nissan Leaf, they've elected to cast the carbon fiber-bodied NISMO RC 2.0 race car. Likewise with Ford, instead of the standard Mustang Mach-E, they've gone with the Mustang Mach-E 1400 drift car. This isn't the first time Hot Wheels has put out a Green Speed series. The line debuted in 2016 but reflected the limited EV choices in the real car market at the time. The only non-fantasy cars in the series were a first-gen Tesla Roadster, a Tesla Model S, and Chevy Volt. Hot Wheels revisited the line again in 2019, this time adding a Tesla Model 3 and a Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo. Hot Wheels also makes other mini EVs that don't fall into this specific line of models. If you want to collect 'em all, there's the second-generation Tesla Roadster concept, Cybertruck, Jaguar I-Pace, Pininfarina Battista, Porsche Taycan, and a Volkswagen ID R. Similarly, Matchbox has released a version of the Tesla Roadster with sustainable packaging to boot. If you must have an old school gasoline burner, Hot Wheels has plenty of options for you too, like, say, this snazzy FJ60 Toyota Land Cruiser. The 2022 Hot Wheels Green Speed series should be on shelves at your local retailers now. Related Video:
