Original Model A frame with a 9" "Z" in the rear using parts from a 1936 Ford frame. The frame is boxed with the boxing plates set 1/2" inside the frame. The motor mounts are custom for a small block chevy (empty 350 engine block included for mockup). The Center cross member is 2"x4" steel tube with a drop out transmission mount. The rear crossmember is flat to allow for a flat trunk floor. 4 speed Saginaw transmission with Hurst shifter and new Edelbrock 3x2 intake with 3 rebuildable Holley 94 carburetors included.
The front end consists of a 1936 Ford axle dropped approximately 3.5" and drilled. It's located a split 1935 Ford wishbone. The spindles are 1935 round back spindles with dropped steering arms and a new tie rod.
The rear axle is an open-drive Ford with 1936 rear radius rods.
Also includes a 30-31 grill shell and radiator.
Wheels are Ford 16" with brand new Firestone Deluxe Champion Bias-ply tires and tubes from Coker tire. 6.00-16 in the front and 7.50-16 in the back.
The body is a rough but build-able collection of parts from a coupe and special coupe. Extra passenger door included. Sub-floor is started but needs to be completed.

Ford of Europe celebrates Mondeo's 20th anniversary
Wed, 25 Sep 2013Ford's European operations are celebrating a milestone of sorts as the Mondeo, the Blue Oval's bread-and-butter D-segment sedan in the old country, celebrates its 20th anniversary. The mid-sizer, which was sold in the US for a short time as the Contour, has been a far more popular vehicle in Europe - even receiving regular praise from one Jeremy Clarkson.
Narrated by Cockney actor Ray Winstone, the video goes through the Mondeo's years and how it's evolved from 1993 to the as-yet-unreleased fifth-generation model, which is essentially the same as the Ford Fusion that's sold in America. Take a look below for the full video from Ford of Europe.

Meet Floyd Pullin, 102-year-old honorary president of Ford trucks [w/video]
Wed, 28 Aug 2013When we talk about trucks we often talk about how loyal truck owners are; it's men like Floyd Pullin who provide the proof. The 102-year-old man from Confluence, Pennsylvania has only owned Ford products since the 1920s, and he's done so well by Ford Trucks that the division named him honorary president for a day, not long after he took delivery of his latest ride, a 2013 F-150 STX.
That's the 16th Ford he's owned. If he bought his first when he was 16, he'd have flipped into a new car or truck about every five years. For 86 years. Not a bad run of business for either side.
Ford Trucks made a video to wish Pullin a happy birthday, which was celebrated at his local Ford dealership and was visited by a Pennsylvania state senator. You can watch it below.
