You are bidding a a newly built ford model A roadster. The body is made by Bebops, who a a leader in fibergalss/composite bodies. The chassis was built by Progressive automotive in Baltimore Ohio. Typical street rod chassis with independant front suspension with tubular control arms, 11 inch GM brakes, rack and pinion steering, triangulated 4 link rear suspension, and a 8 inch ford rear.The motor is a stock small block chevy dressed up with aluminum intake, valvecovers, chrome alternator and mount, etc. I was told it was a 350, but I have not verified the numbers. I was also told it had been rebuilt, but I no documentation on it. I did not build the car. I got it 80% competed and finished it. I did have the volve covers off and the heads are super clean, which makes me believe it was rebuilt. it has a turbo 350 automatic transmisssion. It has a walker radiator, classic gauges, and an aftermarket wiring system. It has a custom seat and interior which is covered in an ultra-leather type material. The trunk is finished to match. The car less than 300 miles on it since built. It also has a fiberglass top which came with it. It is new ( black gelcoat) and I have never tried to fit it. I had no intention of using it.The car runs great and drives great. However, the front end should have an alignment. The wheels were new from Wheel Vintique with new new tires. The paint is Sunburst orange pearl metallic (basecoat/clearcoat) from a 2008 chevy HHR wagon. The paint is very nice, but not perfect. it has gotten a couple of minor nicks in it aIready on the running board. I do not have the sides for the hood, but they are available from Bebops. 2014 Ford Transit Connect Taxi hopes to fare thee well

New York City may have selected its taxi of tomorrow, but there are still plenty of municipalities across the US with citizens that depend on yellow livery cars to get them across town in a jiffy. That's why Ford is going ahead with this, the new Transit Connect Taxi.
Based on the 2014 Transit Connect, the TC Taxi boasts a number of features designed to make the compact van appeal to discerning taxi drivers and their fares, with the most notable upgrade being a standardized prep package to convert the 2.5-liter four to run on liquefied petroleum or compressed natural gas. The clean-burning fuel options will allow operators to save on fuel costs and cut down on pollution without sacrificing performance.
A lower load floor and a new twist-beam rear suspension are meant to improve the riding experience for passengers, while the longer 2014 Transit Connect sports extra cargo space as well. In addition to the CNG/LPG conversion, the Transit Connect Taxi can also be easily modified for wheelchair access. Drivers, meanwhile, will have access to optional goodies like Sync with MyFord Touch and a rear-view camera.

Ford profiles surprisingly affluent Focus ST buyers

It comes as no surprise when Ford says that 32-percent of Focus ST buyers are under 35, but we weren't expecting this: the average annual salary of Focus ST buyers is $127,000. Twenty-two percent of non-ST Focus buyers are under 35, while their average annual salary is $67,000.
We like the Focus ST because it has 252 horsepower, is genuinely fun to drive and offers great value for performance-minded car enthusiasts; facts that are not lost on customers, it seems. Ford says that the Focus ST has the highest percentage of conquest sales for a non-hybrid model it sells, and that the top-four trade-ins are from Honda, Chevrolet, Mazda and Toyota. Demand for the hot Focus is strongest in Los Angeles, Detroit, Houston and Orlando.
"[The Focus ST is] having this kind of halo effect for other vehicles we'd hoped for when we invested in the ST brand," says John Felice, vice president of US marketing, sales and service, because it's helping to boost sales of other Ford vehicles.
