I thought I'd get it fixed up one day but I'm too old now. The car does not run and will need to be towed. It currently has a Lincoln 460 V8 engine in it. However, I have the original 429 V8 engine with matching serial number. It is dissembled in my garage but it's all there and not damaged. Although, it too has been sitting for 25 years. Overall, the car is in pretty decent shape all things considered. It has a legitimate 141,000 miles. It needs a new battery and I'm sure the fluids need to be changed but otherwise, it should fire up. It is missing the trunk XL emblem (someone stole it years ago) and the glass fell out of the passenger side mirror. All other parts are there."

The car does not run and will need to be towed. It currently has a Lincoln 460 V8 engine in it. However, I have the original 429 V8 engine with matching serial number. It is dissembled in my garage but it's all there and not damaged. Although, it too has been sitting for 25 years. Overall, the car is in pretty decent shape all things considered. It has a legitimate 141,000 miles. It needs a new battery and the fluids need to be changed, but otherwise it should fire up. It ran best on premium fuel but does run fine on unleaded. Also, the tires (Uniroyal Tiger Paw II) are flat. The interior is in good shape with the exception of the top of the dashboard which is pretty beat up. Everything else is original. This is the car from the opening scene in the Omega Man movie.

You can now Uber a Ford F-150 for tailgating at NFL games

The Ford F-Series has been named as the official truck of the NFL, whatever that means. To kick things off, the automaker is giving fans in New York the ability to order a "Built Ford Tough Tailgate Truck" on demand through Uber. The NFL-backed tailgate F-Series trucks will bring fans tailgate food, tickets, and merchandise. The ability to get a tailgate truck through Uber is currently limited to New York, but Ford will also offer a tailgate tour in various cities where NFL fans can win tailgate parties, tickets to games, and access to their own Ford tailgate truck. The sponsorship is for three years and includes America's best-selling truck, the Ford F-150, along with the automaker's Super Duty trucks. Ford is also giving NFL fans the ability to enter the "Built Ford Tough Toughest Ticket" sweepstakes for a chance to win Super Bowl LI tickets, along with a new 2017 Ford F-Series Super Duty decked out to showcase the winner's favorite football team. The NFL has partnered with various automakers in the past, with the most recent being a four-year deal with Hyundai in 2015. The Korean automaker is currently the official car, SUV, and luxury vehicle of the NFL, which conveniently leaves a spot for Ford's F-Series trucks to slot into. Hyundai took the sponsorship from General Motors, which had been a sponsor since 2001. Ford's new sponsorship comes at the perfect time as the new season official starts tomorrow with the Carolina Panthers taking on the Denver Broncos. Bill Ford augments his power by nearly doubling stake of supervoting shares

Bill Ford Jr. has more sway than ever over the automaker that bears his surname, as the great-grandson of Ford's founder has reportedly doubled is holdings of Class B Ford stock. According to a report from Reuters (which cites a newly discovered securities filing), he acquired some 3.7 million Class B shares from an unnamed family member.
Class B shares of Ford stock are held by descendants of Henry Ford and offer expanded voting power to their holders - Bill Ford Jr. now controls roughly 11.5 percent of the total Class B pool. Ford Jr. is also a one of five trustees that manage a voting trust that oversees the majority of these "supervoting" shares. In total, Reuters reports there are 71 million Class B shares that account for 40 percent of the voting power in the company, despite making up just 2 percent of the total volume of all Ford stock.
Ford Jr. served as Ford's CEO until 2006, when he stepped down to hire and make space for current CEO, Alan Mulally. The move to consolidate Ford family voting power, at least somewhat, is seen by many as a comforting sign with Mulally's departure from the company likely to happen in the next several years.
