1967 Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible Fully Restored Candy Paint on 2040-cars
Sierra Vista, Arizona, United States
|
1967 Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible 289 engine, performance manifold, 3 speed auto, electric ignition It was my daily ride before restoration. Very solid, runs great! Clear AZ title Fully restored, new Candy Wine Red paint (under the hood and trunk lid as well) New upholstery, new tires, new top, good battery Factory power steering, power windows, power top The car was first sold to Honolulu, Hawaii. Then was registered as Historic Vehicle in Oregon. Ended up in Reno/ Nevada where I bought it and took it to Arizona. The car was absolutely rust free but the paint was old and faded. The upholstery was original in really bad condition. The previous owner overhauled the engine, painted it. I spend tons of money on it over two years and I still wouldn't say it's done. The reason I don't ask twenty-thousand for it is because it doesn't have the disc break conversion kit (about $600 on ebay). No chrome rims ($400 and up) Weather strips are original and some places are worn (about $450 on ebay) I fixed the Galaxie emblem on the driver's side of the back just to see how it looks. It's removable, I didn't drill the body. I didn't fix it at the passenger side. It will be you choice to remove it or put up the other pair. The Galaxie 500 scrits are included as well as the old trims, spare tire, MP3, SD-card player, old FORD trunk script I'm selling the car localy and reserve the right to end the auction at any time $500 PayPal deposit required within 24 hours after auction ends. (I will have to travel back to Arizona) No joy rides, low ball offers please. I've got lot's of pictures of restoration Happy bidding, God bless |

Recharge Wrap-up: Ford Fusion and Toyota Highlander named Best Hybrids for Families; Funky Prius motorhome
Fri, Mar 13 2015Tesla Model S customers in China will receive a "Universal Mobile Charger" with their vehicle. The charger will allow drivers to charge their Tesla anywhere, without having to search out a Supercharger when out in the wild. It allows Model S drivers a bit more freedom and helps alleviate worries about traveling too far from home. It could also help sway potential customers who suffer from range anxiety. The charger will be free to new and existing customers when it becomes available this summer. Read more at Car News China. Audi plans to give its electric vehicles looks that differentiate them from the rest of the lineup. "In early 2018, we will launch a battery-powered sports activity vehicle in the large premium segment with a range of more than 500 kilometers," says Audi's head of development, Ulrich Hackenberg. "It will have a new, very attractive design, which we are developing especially for the E-Tron range and for battery-electric vehicles." According to analysts, part of the reason the Toyota Prius was so successful was because it was easy to distinguish from other Toyota models with conventional powertrains. James Lawler used mostly scraps to build the tiny house – complete with tin roof, chimney, and stained glass window – for just $150 Australian. It took him about a week to finish. Lawler made use of his creation at the Meredith Music Festival so he didn't have to sleep in a tent. He was, however, fined by police for driving the makeshift motorhome. Ford set to target pre-school market with next F-150 variant
Tue, Jun 17 2014How do you build a strong group of loyalists from the next generation of American drivers? You start em' young. Ford has taken that lesson to heart, as we can see in the first batch of images of the company's new entry to the pre-school market, the Power Wheels F-150. This particular example was caught returning from testing around Ford's base of operations in Dearborn, MI – covered in tiny little bits of camouflage, too. Now, this could very well end up being a collaboration between Power Wheels and Ford. Then again, it could just be some bored engineers that decided to troll the local congregation of spy photographers, who earlier today captured images of the next Focus RS and SVT Mustang. Whatever it is, it's pretty darn cool. Take a look up top for images of the new Power Wheels F-150.
