You are bidding on an all original 1966 Ford Galaxie 500. This car has been in the same family since it was purchased new in Franklin, NC in 1966 from Conley Motors Ford Dealership. The car has great documentation and service records. This is an all numbers matching car with original mileage which is 95,600. The motor is a 289 and the transmission is a 3-speed on the column. The valve covers, intake, and air cleaner have been powder coated Ford Blue and the rest of the motor has been painted with enamel. All the trim on the car has been re-done and both bumpers are new. The interior is in great condition having been re-done 10 years ago. The car was re-painted in the 90's and is still in great shape. The car has 4 new tires and brand new dual exhausts with flowmasters. It has power steering but no power brakes; drum all the way around but stops very well. This car is a true survivor. Remarkably, everything on this car works like new, and I mean EVERYTHING. It has been garage kept for the last 19 years.
