Remarkable under body, as most of these cars tend to have weak floors, frames and floor pans. This car was in storage for a considerate amount of time and only needs lower quarter repair on both sides. Driver's door has a rust hole behind accent strip which can easily be repaired or optimally a new door. Dashboard is remarkable and has no splits. Needs interior, top, and paint to be a respectable driver. This car drives, shifts and stops remarkably and has no obvious leaks or problems. Gas tanks and fuel lines, timing chain, water pump, starter solenoid, battery and cables have all been replaced. Does not over heat or smoke. Original paint, as best I can tell and has no bondo or body repair. Was originally undercoated and is a good, honest presentation. I do moderate restorations and repairs and am familiar with most concerns of projects of this scope. I feel that this is a very good candidate for either a mild or total restoration. Have new quarters, original wheels and dog dish hub caps.

Production of Shelby GT350 is coming to an end
Fri, 26 Jul 2013One Autoblog staffer who drove the limited-edition Shelby GT350 wrote it probably was the best Mustang he'd driven, but, at some point, the fun had to come to an end: December 31 is the last day the GT350 will be available to order.
The GT350's option list has evolved much like it did for the original 1965-67 GT350. For 2011, the 45th Anniversary edition only came in coupe form and was painted white with blue stripes, just as with the 1965 car. The 2012 GT350 was offered as a coupe or convertible, and three colors were added to the option list, just like the 1966 model. For 2013, more colors and options were added in addition to equipment and styling updates, which resulted in Wilwood instead of Baer brakes. No major changes were made for the 2014 model. From the first car in 2011, customers have been able to choose between three different configurations for their 5.0-liter V8: naturally aspirated with 440 horsepower, supercharged with 525 hp (with warranty) or supercharged with 624 hp (without warranty).
"When we unveiled this latest version of the Shelby GT350, we promised it would be built for a limited time to preserve its collectability and value," states John Luft, president of Shelby American. He may have a point, because the original GT350, which also had a limited production run, is among the most valuable muscle cars in the world.
Watch Piquet and Mansell bend some sheetmetal in Ford Fusion GP
Tue, 12 Feb 2013As we told you about before, there were four episodes planned for the Ford Fusion GP campaign in Brazil, and the whole series has now run its course. The Ford ads pit Brazilian Formula One driver Nelson Piquet against English F1 pilot Nigel Mansell driving the new Fusion, the two coming together again after their partnership at the Williams F1 team ended in a miserable state more than 20 years ago.
They're lined up for you below, in reverse chronological order. You should watch number three first, though, as it adds a bit more spice to the NASCAR action in the fourth.
