Hello you are bidding on a very sharp 1964 Ford Galaxie 500. This car was originally a 352 automatic and was converted to a 406 dual quad 4 speed. The body on this car is very solid with no filler. The paint is about 10 years old and is very straight with a great shine, but does have a few flaws, some scratches and chips that were touched up, not that noticeable. The interior is all redone, new seats covers, door panels, carpet and headliner. The dash was never restored but looks good. This car was built in Virginia and spent most of its life in Arizona. This car is very solid, all the chrome is in great shape. All the glass is good, windows roll up and down smoothly. The factory gas gauge and temp work. It does have power steering. Lights and turn signals work. The wipers are all there, but are not working, I do not know why. The heater is all hooked up, but it is bypassed underneath the hood. Speedo is not hooked up. All of the interior lights work. This car runs and drives great, could use an alignment and maybe some front shocks. The car has a highways gear in it so you car drive it at highway speeds. Overall this is a great piece of American Muscle car history from the 60's. I do have the factory fender skirts and a box of misc. parts, and a car cover. You can pack up the whole family in this car and cruise to a local car show, and be very proud. I have been to many car shows and I don't see many of these around. The Galaxie draws attention where ever it goes! Also it is equipped with headers with brand new dual exhaust all the way to the back. The motor has a nice rumble to it, and does run on pump gas.

Ford C-Max spied with fresh updates
Fri, 05 Sep 2014The Ford C-Max hatchback looks to be getting a few cosmetic updates, as evidenced in this latest set of spy photos. Like the smaller Focus, which also received a nip/tuck for the 2015 model year, the C-Max appears to be getting a revised front fascia with slimmer headlamps and a more, shall we say, Aston Martin-like grille. Around back, there looks to be a new bumper with redesigned taillamps, as well.
In other markets, the C-Max people-mover is available with a range of powertrains, but here in the US, it exists either as a traditional gas-electric or plug-in hybrid. The C-Max's fuel economy has been a particular topic of interest lately, with its official fuel economy ratings having been lowered twice since the vehicle's launch. Sales initially suffered a bit following this fiasco, though numbers have since leveled out. It's unclear if Ford is working on any powertrain tweaks for the updated C-Max seen here, however.
Ford has likely spruced up the hatch's interior, as well, though we don't have photos of that at this time. Mum's the word on when we'll see the new C-Max, but our best guess is that it'll arrive sometime in the next year.
Focus RS shreds in prep for Goodwood hillclimb
Tue, Jun 23 2015The Goodwood Festival of Speed is rapidly becoming a second home for Ford's hottest versions of the Focus. Last year, the updated Focus ST and high-performance diesel debuted there, and this year the motoring event has been selected to show off the new 2016 Focus RS. To get a little exercise before speeding up the hill climb, the Blue Oval unleashed its upcoming hyper hatch on a Belgian test track. Based on this clip, Ford's test driver has absolutely no problem whatsoever in making the Focus RS slide, at least with the stability and traction control off. Interestingly, while the RS shares its 2.3-liter EcoBoost with the latest Mustang, the Blue Oval's engineers give it a much different exhaust note here. Rather than a growling muscle car, this example has much more of the staccato bark of a rally-bred machine, which is a great fit. The all-wheel drive, 315-horsepower Focus RS should be arriving at dealers soon, and we're definitely looking forward to seeing and hearing it take on the Goodwood hill during the upcoming event.
