1963 Ford Galaxie 4dr Torque Thrusts Lowered Lowrider Hot Rod Dual Exhaust 1964 on 2040-cars

1963 Ford Galaxie 4 door sedan. Black with blue cloth interior. Torque thrust style 5 spokes with brand new tires, dual exhaust, 289 2 barrel and automatic transmission. New master cylinder. The car runs and drives good. Engine has a "tick" when it is cold but goes away once it warms up. I just had it aligned. New ball joint and upper a-arm bushings installed on the passenger side. It has power steering but there is no pump, bracket or hoses installed. Just the ram assist is still on the car. The CD player is not hooked up. It needs some small things like a gas pedal, headlight switch nut, trunk lock cylinder, wing window regulator and a couple pieces of trim. The paint looks good and would look even better with a good buffing. The car has been painted and there is some filler cracking and rust showing through in the usual spots for these cars. The rear bumper also has some rust on it. Coils were cut in the front and 2" lowering blocks in the rear with new u-bolts installed. I have a clear title. The car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. You can message me or give me a call with any questions at 701-680-one079. Thanks for looking.

Ford announces 2014 F-150 SVT Raptor Special Edition
Tue, 09 Apr 2013Ford has pulled the wraps off its anticipated 2014 F-150 SVT Raptor Special Edition model, a new variant of the popular street-legal off-road specialist. In a nutshell, the "special" is all cosmetic - there are no mechanical upgrades to the truck and its 6.2-liter V8 (411 horsepower and 434 pound-feet of torque), Torsen limited-slip differential, beadlock-capable wheels and internal triple-bypass FOX Racing Shox dampers all remain untouched.
The SVT Raptor Special Edition, which adds cosmetic enhancements to the existing Luxury Package, will be offered in Ruby Red Metallic and Tuxedo Black Metallic with box-side graphics. The interior upgrades include Brick Red seat bolsters (with black inserts), cloth honeycomb highlights and a console top finish panel.
As of now, Ford has only release a couple pictures of the Special Edition model. But check back later, as we will update the gallery when additional high-res images are released later today, and be sure to peruse the press release below for all the details.
Ford Australia pulls the ol' talking car prank
Mon, 07 Apr 2014Siri from Apple has proven that being able to talk to your technology doesn't always work perfectly. But what if it could eventually go far enough to give a personality to inanimate objects like our cars? Ford took just this path to comedic effect by playing a prank on many unsuspecting Australians, in a new commercial for its EcoSport compact crossover.
The Aussies seem very nonchalant about having a random parked car talk to them, and they seem surprisingly game when it asks them to get in, call a celebrity and tell a joke. (We're guessing there are some hilarious outtakes, too.) Scroll down to watch some folks from Down Under have a conversation with Ford's CUV.
Just in time for the holidays, Snowkhana 3 is here
Tue, Dec 9 2014The gift list for the 12 Days of Christmas is frightfully heavy on birds, so surely no one will mind if we sub out the three French hens for Snowkhana 3. Ford of Europe is back with another stop-motion video that – like versions one and two – throws a 1:64-scale Ford Fiesta in Ken Block livery around a fabulous world of action figures and make believe. This year's video "drives rings around some of the biggest YouTube hits," so those of you who've lost years of your lives to the greatest distraction since the human navel can put your knowledge to use. For anyone else just catching up, we'll help you get rolling: the opening Snowkhana scene channels Stalking Cat. You'll find the rest of your holiday homework in the video.
