I bought this car new in November of 2011. It's been a great car that gets amazing gas mileage (31 mpg in town). We need something to tow with, though, so we got an SUV. I added the little rear spoiler, but everything else is just like it came off the lot. It's an auto transmission. The SE model has things like fog lights, automatic headlights and audio controls on the steering wheel.
Condition:
The car runs and drives like new. I changed the oil at 1500 miles, 5000 miles and every 5000 since. The battery died early, so the dealership replaced it. It has never needed anything else.
There are two very small parking-lot door dings, but the body is clean otherwise. It has only ever been hand-washed and the paint shines like new. On the inside, my wife's heel wore a hole in the driver's floor mat (so we put in all-weather mats over the originals), but otherwise the interior is like new. No smells, leaks or issues of any kind. A reliable and nice-looking car.

Daimler consulting with Ford about 3-cylinder engines

Soon enough, Ford will offer its 1.0-liter EcoBoost three-cylinder engine under the hood of the Fiesta here in the United States, building on the success of the small powerplant overseas. In fact, this success has caused other automakers to take notice, and according to Automotive News Europe, Daimler is now talking to Ford about this engine for use in its own products.
In other markets, Ford offers the 1.0-liter mill under the hood of the Focus (we had the chance to sample this package on our home turf), as well as the B-Max MPV. For this new collaboration, Daimler would use the turbo-three in the next-generation Smart ForTwo, as well as the Renault Twingo, which the German automaker will be collaborating on as part of its alliance with Renault-Nissan. Speaking to AN, a Mercedes-Benz engineer called the 1.0-liter mill an "interesting and impressive engine."
In exchange for details about the EcoBoost inline-three, Daimler will supply Ford with information regarding its Euro6 stratified lean-burn gasoline engine, which is found in the new E-Class sedan.

2015 Ford F-150 gets Power Wheels treatment [w/video]

With the introduction of its forthcoming 2015 F-150, Ford is breaking with convention by shifting from steel-intensive construction to aluminum. But what if it weren't made of metal altogether? What if it were made of plastic instead, and packed an electric motor instead of an internal-combustion engine?
Feast your eyes, boys and girls, on the new Power Wheels F-150. Built by Fisher-Price and licensed by Ford, the third-generation ride-on toy started development nine months before the full-size version debuted at the Detroit Auto Show this past January, and is hitting sidewalks and driveways across the country this September.
The Power Wheels F-150 carries a sticker price of $349.99, and there's a special version at Toys R Us with LED headlamps (just like the real F-150) for an extra $10.

This year's LA Auto Show has been packed with interesting debuts and fascinating industry trends.
