I am selling my 2004 Ford Focus ZX3 2.3L. Manual transmission.
Has: Premium Wheels. Premium Sound, includes sub-woofer. Power locks and windows. Factory tint. Alarm + Remote. Great gas millage average 28mpg. Just passed smog and have a certificate on hand valid for 90 days. Smog technician said it passed well above average, a sign of a healthy engine and emissions system. Just renewed my registration a week ago so tags are valid for a full year. Regular full synthetic oil changes. (mobil 1) New suspension parts and new front struts, also new rear wheel bearings. AC need recharge. Has scratches on one of the rims, and some body damage. (shown in pics) and I lost the small detachable security device that goes onto the radio face, so It cannot be used unless you know how to bypass the security feature. Please note the radio pictured is not what comes with the car. The stock radio has been put back in. Good reliable car just has some cosmetic flaws. The reason for selling is that I just bought an AWD vehicle for my wife. The carfax report is incorrect regarding an accident on this vehicle. There never was a reported accident, I got a ticket for reckless driving in 2013 and the police report was incorrectly written. There was no collision,.. I have a letter of experience from my insurance company stating no reported accidents whatsoever. I am dealing with highway patrol and they are looking in to get this removed. I'm available for viewing most days so let me know! Good luck bidding! |

eBay Find Of The Day: 1988 Saleen Ford Mustang General Tire 21R race car
Tue, 29 Jul 2014Saleen may be making headlines these days for working on the Tesla Model S, but its history and bread-and-butter is all about the Ford Mustang. The rear-wheel-drive Dearborn pony cars singlehandedly put the company on the map in the '80s. Founder Steve Saleen was already a talented American racing driver when he started the venture, and like many auto industry businesses before him, Saleen went to the track to prove his vehicles' worth. Now, there's a chance to buy one of those early racers on eBay Motors.
Saleen Mustangs raced in the Sports Car Club of America Escort Endurance Championship - a series of multi-hour races meant to challenge man and machine. Ostensibly a showroom stock class, the cars had larger wheels, tuned suspensions and other upgrades that stretched the concept slightly. Saleen found major success though, taking the championship for its class in 1987 and winning the 24 Hours of Mosport consecutively from 1986 through 1988.
According to the seller, Saleen only built eight of these cars, and this one carries the #21R serial number. They all started life as new Mustangs from Ford dealers but were immediately stripped and prepped to go racing. Beyond obvious mods like a roll cage, they featured eight-inch wide wheels in front, an inch of additional track width, stiffer suspension bushings and much more.
Jay Leno takes a Surfin' Safari in a 1937 Ford Woodie Restomod
Tue, 21 Oct 2014Woodie wagons were a major part of surfing culture in the 1960s, offering coastal style and a ton of room, and they even earned a mention in the Beach Boys' classic song Surfin' Safari. This week, Jay Leno's Garage takes a look at two modern, restomodded examples of these style icons.
Unlike a lot of restomods, builder Scott Bonowski keeps these wagons looking almost completely stock on the outside, and all of the upgrades are hidden underneath the timber. You can't tell by looking at it, but the '37 Woodie (pictured above) has independent front and rear suspension, disc brakes and a Ford 5.0-liter V8 under the hood.
Beyond the mechanical aspect, the craftsmanship into the wood is astounding. Bonowski claims there are between 30 and 50 coats of varnish on this wagon. It makes these woodies as much of a piece of fine furniture as a vehicle to drive.
Ford will keep Escape and MKC plant open an extra week to meet demand
Thu, Jun 8 2017Crossovers keep selling like popular pastries, and for Ford, that means it needs to keep production going. The company announced that, rather than the usual two-week shutdown, its Louisville, Ky., assembly plant will be open for one of those weeks. The plant builds the Ford Escape and Lincoln MKC, which Ford reports have had record sales. According to Ford, Escape sales through May are up 3 percent, and MKC sales are up 10 percent compared with last year. In total, the Escape has sold about 130,000 units through May, and the MKC has sold around 11,000. Keeping the Louisville plant open will allow the company to build an additional 8,500 vehicles. Ford stated that all other assembly plants will continue with the two-week shutdown as scheduled.
