Very nice 1964 Ford Falcon with a modern drive line for easy starting and reliable running. My wife bought this car on Ebay approx 6 years ago. At the time we went to a lot of car shows and it has always been fun an reliable. In the last couple of years she has not been into the car thing so much and its now time to sell this cool little car.

The brakes are power with disc in the front and drums in the rear. The rear axle is a Ford 8". The engine conversion was done by the previous owner. I believe it is a 93 Mustang engine and auto trans. The overdrive will let you run 70 MPH on the interstate just fine. The exhaust includes headers and quiet mufflers. The fuel lines are all steel braided lines from the tank to the engine. The tires still have a lot tread on them. Nicely done interior. If we were going to keep this car the only thing that would be nice to do is add power steering. It came to us with this small steering wheel mounted on an I-Did-It column and it can be stiff to turn while parking.

I have not had to do much to this car since we bought it. I put in a power brake booster and new rear brake hardware. New Optima battery was installed in March of 2014. If I had to guess, I would say we have put about 2,000 miles on it since we got it.

NACTOY announces top nine finalists for Car, Truck and Utility of the Year

Finalists for the 2024 North American Car, Truck and Utility Vehicle of the Year (NACTOY) Awards were announced at this year’s L.A. Auto Show. This whittles the field down to nine vehicles in total, with the winners scheduled to be announced on January 4, 2024. The finalists in their respective categories: Car category: Honda Accord, Hyundai Ioniq 6, Toyota Prius Truck category: Chevrolet Colorado, Chevrolet Silverado EV, Ford Super Duty Utility category: Genesis Electrified GV70, Kia EV9, Volvo EX30 These nine cars were chosen from a list of 25, which was previously narrowed down from a list of 52 eligible vehicles. Notable misses include the Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray, Toyota GR Corolla, GMC Canyon, Ford Ranger, Chevrolet Blazer EV, Chevrolet Equinox EV, Mazda CX-90 and Toyota Grand Highlander, among others. James Franco and tiger tease Ford Super Bowl commercial

Ford has just released a teaser for its Super Bowl ad, and unlike just about every other automaker, it seems that the Blue Oval is going to make us wait until Sunday to see the full spot. The teaser is, um, strange.
It stars James Franco, who believes he is Ron Riggle, the comedian, Fox NFL Sunday host and retired Marine lieutenant colonel. There's also a tiger. The vague spot has Franco claiming that "this is no ordinary commercial." You'll note on the bottom right, there's a Ford logo and the hashtag #nearlydouble.
According to Automotive News, it's part of a massive viral effort being pushed forward by Ford and its dealerships. Ford sent different teasers and "vignettes" to dealership employees and asked them to share them on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, in the hopes of creating a viral effect.
