"Picture yourself in the middle of tomorrow - Today!" Ford completely revamped its cars for 1957 and promoted each model as thoroughly modern (when GM was at the end of its 3 year cycle). The Sunliner Convertible was Ford's penultimate model that year, behind the novel but problematic Skyliner. It is powered by a 312ci OHV Thunderbird V-8 with a 4-barrel carburetor developing 245 hp and mated to a Ford-O-Matic transmission. It came fitted with a long list of standard features including power steering and power brakes. This example was built at the San Jose plant in California. It has won mutiple awards and was featured in the April 2012 issue of Collectible Automobile Magazine. It is equipped with Kelsey Hayes spoke wheels, aluminum valve covers, Continental Kit, fender skirts and hockey stick rocker panels. She drives like a dream and is ready to show in any Concours event or simply enjoy driving down the highways and backroads. Ford hybrid sales rebound following MPG controversy

Ford hybrid customers apparently have very short memories. With two EPA fuel economy reratings in the last year, sales of the C-Max, Fusion Hybrid and Lincoln MKZ haven't been too terribly dented, Ward's Auto reports.
All three vehicles saw sales dips following the August 2013 rerating, although sales of the MKZ Hybrid had begun to rebound as early as November of that year. C-Max sales, meanwhile, took slightly longer, with sales on a steadily improving course as early as February of this year.
The second rerating, in June of this year, has had an even smaller effect on the Blue Oval's hybrids. The C-Max has actually been subject to a sales increase, while both the MKZ and Fusion saw minor sales drops (less than 400 units between the two in the month following the rerating).

This year's LA Auto Show has been packed with interesting debuts and fascinating industry trends. The Autoblog team is on the scene to examine all the new metal, and Senior Editor Greg Migliore has some show highlights for us in the video above. In particular, the new Fiat 124 Spider and Honda Civic Coupe stand out as important debuts. The Fiat is based on the excellent Mazda Miata, with a turbocharged 1.4-liter engine and revised styling. The Civic Coupe is a striking redesign of an extremely popular and important model for the company. And the restyled Ford Escape looks more like its bigger brother, the Explorer.
