For Sale a 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 4dr project car. Most of the metal is in very good condition. Passenger rocker dented have replacement rockers, small rust through in rear quarter panel, and front fender rear section have repair panels for both. Rear body mounts behind wheel wells need replacing rear frame hump. It was a 292 and automatic car and I do have the standard pedals if you want to make it a standard trans car. There is not engine or trans or most interior. Spare parts include A arm set both sides, front hubs with drums, extra dash board, original 57 diver dr. (slightly sprung) used a 58 dr. to replace. I have the 3 other 58 doors to go with car. Have extra heater box w/blower. Also have extra upper stainless, taillights and other parts. The car is from Texas, but I purchased it out of Massachusetts a few years back and I have a good NJ title. The parts I have exacta according to Hollander are interchangeable. I do not have the 500 rear bumper, but have a 300 bumper for sale for $200 It is not perfect nor is it being sold as a perfect car. It is a project car. Ford bringing 10 custom Transit Connects to SEMA
Tue, 29 Oct 2013With 57 vehicles planned for its SEMA display, it comes as little surprise that Ford has plenty of teasers for its show cars. After showing us what it has in store for the Mustang, Fiesta and Focus ST, now we're getting a look at some of the custom creations based on the redesigned 2014 Transit Connect van.
These nine Transit Connects are decked out to various degrees of customization, but our favorite might be the chopped and lowered Transit Connect from Mob Steel (shown above), which has a similar slammed stance that we see on some custom VW Buses. On the opposite extreme, LGE & CTS Motorsports has jacked up a Transit Connect to make a Cross Country cruiser that we wouldn't mind taking on a road trip.

Ford and OMS bring military ride-and-drive program to Hockenheimring

It kind of goes without saying, but joining the military means you won't be enjoying quite as much leisure time as members of the civilian world. That said, when a chance to let your hair down does come along, servicemembers usually enjoy some very unique opportunities... like driving a new Ford Mustang and F-150 around Germany's Hockenheimring. Ford and the Overseas Military Sales Corporation, the on-base retailer for the Blue Oval and the same outfit that worked out a raffle program for servicemembers to purchase the limited-edition 50th Anniversary Mustang, put together the ride-and-drive program at Germany's second most famous circuit. The OMS allows military men and women to purchase vehicles for both on-base use and for pickup when they arrive back in the United States. "The Ford Driving Freedom ride-and-drive event is designed to introduce the new 2015 Ford Mustang and F-150 to military personnel who are stationed on US bases across Europe," Ford fleet sales manager Doug Walczak said in the attached statement. "It's the first time such an event has been held overseas." According to Ford, over 300 servicemen and women applied to take part in this pilot program, which was more than double what Ford and OMS had room for.
