I have here a clean 2007 F450 4x4 crew cab with the 6.0 diesel. The interior of the truck is clean, The front seat has had a cover on it, the seat looks new. there is one crack in the vinyl on the drivers side back seat no tears or wear. Maybe a little dirty from use. Front right door and fender do have a little damage. nothing major. Looks like something hit fender, it was like this when I got it. I just put 6 brand new Michelins on truck $3000.00. and there is less than 500 miles on them. When I bought truck I replace the egr valve and oil cooler. $2200.00. The other day coming home from work the Check Gauges light comes on and truck cuts off. I had truck towed to dealer and they said it was the high pressure pump and some screen. I said fix it. $1900.00. They called me back and said that didn't fix the truck. So I had it towed home. The truck has just under 150,000 miles, it has always had good power and no funny noises. At this time I am cutting my loses and moving on. I don't know whats wrong with truck other than it turns over and doesn't start. You are more than welcome to call to talk about truck and I encourage you inspect truck. Any tools fuel tanks air compressors DO NOT come with truck. Hurricane Sandy cost automakers 15,000 vehicles, may have ruined up to 200k

Hurricane Sandy was the largest Atlantic storm in US history, and its total economic impact is just now coming into view. According to Automotive News, Toyota, Chrysler, Nissan and Honda are set to scrap around 15,000 new vehicles ruined by the storm. Nissan alone accounts for about 40 percent of those, with 6,000 Nissan and Infiniti models deeded "un-saleable" due to damage. The company saw 56 dealerships shuttered due to the storm, but 51 of those have since reopened.
Toyota, meanwhile, had some 4,000 vehicles at its Newark port facility, and of those, 3,000 may be scrapped. An additional 825 were dealer inventory when they were ruined. Honda and Acura dealers are reportedly sending 3,440 vehicles to the salvage yard. By comparison, Chrysler weathered the storm fairly well with 825 units destroyed, while Hyundai suffered only 400 lost units and Kia scrapped around 200.
As you may recall, Fisker also suffered some losses, and Automotive News reports the manufacturer saw 320 Karma models damaged beyond repair. Ford and General Motors have yet to come up with estimates, and no automaker has commented on the full cost of replacing the vehicles.

2016 Green Truck of the Year, Commercial Green Car of the Year finalists

Not only are commercial-grade haulers getting more green love lately, they're getting more different kinds of green love. The 2016 Green Truck of the Year, the second time the award has been handed out, is being decided by judges from Green Car Journal and the San Antonio Auto & Truck Show. This year the award is joined by the new 2016 Commercial Green Car of the Year, which crowns one of the little vans increasingly used by small business as cargo and delivery vehicles. The Green Truck of the Year finalists are the Chevrolet Colorado Duramax (pictured), Ford F-150, GMC Canyon Duramax, Nissan Titan XD, and Toyota Tacoma. The first three of those were on last year's list, but since they are completely new or upgraded for 2016 - Ford with its all-aluminum body, the General Motors twins with the new diesel Duramax engine - they qualify for entry again. The Ram 1500 EcoDiesel won last year. The Commercial Green Car finalists are the Chevrolet City Express, Ford Transit Connect, Mercedes-Benz Metris, Nissan NV200, and Ram ProMaster City.
