I have for sale my fully built 2008 Ford F-350 Lariat diesel, extended cab, short box with 82 Boss V-Plow. I purchased this truck about a year and a half ago and have built it myself into what it is today. This is my 3rd Ford Diesel build and I am ready for my next one. When I purchased this truck and started building it, I had every intention of keeping it indefinitely. I love this truck and I am just testing the water. If it doesn’t sell, that’s okay with me. The ONLY reason I am even considering selling it, is because as my family continues to grow, I am finding that an extended cab just isnt big enough for me anymore. The only trades I would consider, would be for a 6.7 Crew Cab. The Boss V-plow is only 3 years old, but it has only been on this truck for one year. A buddy of mine was trading his truck in and they wouldn’t give him anything for the plow, so I bought it off him and put it on this truck. The only thing this truck has plowed, is my driveway, like twice last year. $8,000 Below is a list of what has been done: H&S MiniMax RACE Tuner (not to be confused with the Street Tuner). The RACE Tuner is the one that has been banned in the U.S. and is impossible to find. $2,000+++ 4 Turbo Back Flow Pro Dual Stainless Steel Exhaust (DPF deleted) $800 Flow Pro EGR Delete Kit $80 S&B Cold Air Intake $300 8 New Injectors $2,000 New High Flow Oil Cooler $300 ARP Head Studs $600 Crank Case Vent has been Relocated $100 Rudys External Coolant Filter Kit $100 Both Axles have been completely rebuilt $1,200 -New Ball in the Front -New in the Rear Two Way Remote Start - Good for up to one mile $500 WeatherTech Floor Mats $150 Bak Flip F1 Tonneau Cover $1000 Rhino Lined Bed $200 Pendaliner Bed Liner over the Rhino Liner (I prefer plastic bedliners) $150 Fia Grille Bug Shield for Summer and Bra for Winter $75 Rear Facing LED Bar Light (I used it when plowing my driveway). $100 4 New Mastercraft Tires (About 75% Tread) $1200 Transmission Fluid/Filter, Front Axle Oil, Rear Axle Oil, Transfer Case Oil, Coolant Flush, Fuel Filters. Quick Drain Oil Plug $25 =Roughly $19,000 in extras, all new within the last year (except the plow) NADA Value is $25,000+19,000= $44,000 in value. I am sure I am forgetting some stuff. I have the receipts for everything. The truck is a factory twin turbo and with the current setup, it should be running around 650HP and 1100 FT/LBS of Torque in the 300HP Hot Tune. For the most part, I run the truck in the No Power Tune (which is actually 50HP over the way the tuner is setup). The beauty of the H&S is that you can Tune on the Fly. The truck has a ton of power and is a ton of fun, but it hasn’t been beat on. My goal was to have a fast daily driver that was also a sleeper and that’s what I got. The truck hasn’t seen the track and hasn’t been street raced, well except for the occasional mustang/ricer on the highway. When I bought the truck, it was bone stock and got 9MPG, now with it fully built, I am at a consistent 16-18MPG. The truck is a Lariat, so it has the standard stuff like heated leather seats, factory navigation, backup sensors, heated-power folding/extending mirrors, factory subwoofer/sound system, etc. The truck was originally from CT and there is no rust. Every single thing on the truck functions exactly like it is supposed to. The price is firm. I wouldn’t hesitate to drive this truck to CA tomorrow. If youre in CA and are willing to pay me enough, I will even drive it out there for you. Shipping is not included, but I will do my best to assist if you are out of state and want the truck shipped. I am also willing to meet halfway, depending how far. The truck is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early. The mileage will go up roughly 60 miles per day, as I am still daily driving it. The Reserve is $35,000. Again, the price is firm. For $3,000 less, I will keep the plow and take the frame and wiring harness off. You wont find a nicer/cleaner 6.4, if you do, buy it.

The next-generation wearable will be your car

Fri, Jan 8 2016

This year's CES has had a heavy emphasis on the class of device known as the "wearable" – think about the Apple Watch, or Fitbit, if that's helpful. These devices usually piggyback off of a smartphone's hardware or some other data connection and utilize various onboard sensors and feedback devices to interact with the wearer. In the case of the Fitbit, it's health tracking through sensors that monitor your pulse and movement; for the Apple Watch and similar devices, it's all that and some more. Manufacturers seem to be developing a consensus that vehicles should be taking on some of a wearable's functionality. As evidenced by Volvo's newly announced tie-up with the Microsoft Band 2 fitness tracking wearable, car manufacturers are starting to explore how wearable devices will help drivers. The On Call app brings voice commands, spoken into the Band 2, into the mix. It'll allow you to pass an address from your smartphone's agenda right to your Volvo's nav system, or to preheat your car. Eventually, Volvo would like your car to learn things about your routines, and communicate back to you – or even, improvise to help you wake up earlier to avoid that traffic that might make you late. Do you need to buy a device, like the $249 Band 2, and always wear it to have these sorts of interactions with your car? Despite the emphasis on wearables, CES 2016 has also given us a glimmer of a vehicle future that cuts out the wearable middleman entirely. Take Audi's new Fit Driver project. The goal is to reduce driver stress levels, prevent driver fatigue, and provide a relaxing interior environment by adjusting cabin elements like seat massage, climate control, and even the interior lighting. While it focuses on a wearable device to monitor heart rate and skin temperature, the Audi itself will use on-board sensors to examine driving style and breathing rate as well as external conditions – the weather, traffic, that sort of thing. Could the seats measure skin temperature? Could the seatbelt measure heart rate? Seems like Audi might not need the wearable at all – the car's already doing most of the work. Whether there's a device on a driver's wrist or not, manufacturers seem to be developing a consensus that vehicles should be taking on some of a wearable's functionality.

Latest Forza Horizon 3 car pack features a Skyline and a fast Swedish wagon

Tue, Jan 3 2017

The steady stream of Forza Horizon 3 car packs shows no signs of slowing down, and the latest Rockstar Energy Drink pack includes enthusiast favorites such as the R31 Skyline and the Volvo V60 Polestar. The car pack also features a couple of sporty two-doors and some off-road oriented machines. Luxury-minded players will be pleased to see both the Bentley Bentayga and BMW i8 make an appearance. People more concerned with ultimate performance will have a different pair to consider. Players will want to check out the Ford trophy truck for busting dunes, and the Radical RXC Turbo for race-car levels of pavement performance. Finally, yet another classic Aussie muscle car appears in the pack: the 1972 Ford Falcon XA GT-HO. For those interested in the new rides, this car pack is included in the Forza Horizon 3 Car Pass, or can be purchased on its own. If only one or two vehicles are must-haves, it's also possible to purchase the cars individually. From Expedition to Navigator: our predictions for Lincoln's SUV

Tue, Feb 7 2017

In the midst of all the buzz surrounding the new aluminum Ford Expedition and Expedition Max, we remembered the other large SUV the Ford Motor Company showed last year, the Lincoln Navigator concept. And since the Navigator has historically been built on the Expedition platform, we figured there's no better time to focus some of our predictions for the big Lincoln. First off, let's take a look at design. Having seen the new Expedition, we're fairly confident that the Navigator will look almost exactly like its concept. The strong similarities between two mean the Expedition serves as a preview of what a production Navigator will look like. For example, both vehicles' greenhouses we can see that the shape of the C-pillars are nearly identical. The only difference is that the Expedition's are painted body color, while the Navigator's are painted black. Additionally, the character line running along the top of the doors on both vehicles is roughly the same height. The same goes for the more subtle crease near the bottom of the doors. We also see no reason why Lincoln wouldn't use the full width taillights, fender vent, and grille treatment it used on the concept. Those are all easy design changes to create differentiation, and they're all right inline with the cues set by the Continental. View 15 Photos For powertrain, we're pretty certain the 400-horsepower 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 previewed on the concept is a certainty now. The Expedition and Expedition Max will be offered with a 3.5-liter EcoBoost as well, so we know it will fit. We expect the Expedition's engine will produce 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque as it does in the F-150. That's less power than the Navigator concept, but it would be reasonable to make the production Navigator a bit more powerful than its lowly Ford brethren to help justify the increased price tag. Towing capacity will probably be about the same between the Ford and Lincoln, which should be something over 9,000 pounds. The Navigator will probably use the same two-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive drivetrains, too. Inside is where the Expedition and Navigator will likely differ the most, particularly in seating. The Expedition offers seating for up to eight with an available second-row bench seat, and the Navigator concept had captain's chairs for every row. We're expecting the Navigator will only offer second-row captain's chairs since the cramped third row would be a waste of nice buckets.
