I have to sell this truck because I am not home enough to drive so i had to help my dad out of a bind and bought his 2003 King Ranch single wheel and that is easier for my wife to drive..... This truck has a lot of goodies on it and I have alot of work done to it just needs to be finshed..... In the last 75,000 miles of its life which would be 6 years it has sit more then it has been drove...... here is a list of things i have done to it....... new injectors on the left side of motor..... new valve covers, all new ac, new radator, new upgraded tranny cooler it a 6.0 cooler because it was 5 times bigger then the org. 7.3 cooler, had tranny rebuilt put extra clutchs in 2nd and drive with a 6.0 convertor with a 7.3 backing plate, aluminum diff. covers, custom carbon fiber inserts on front and back seats to match, 6" lift kit chrome rock star wheels with 285.75.17 nito terra glabbers.... The truck just needs to be finshed, from sitting the shop told me that it has a fuel knock on the right side they said the injectors need to be changed on the right side of the motor, and the rear main seal is leaking a little bit.... It has a little dent in front right side of bumper and the right side head light does not work..... 4 wheel drive works but when the new wheel bearing went in the lock out was messed up on the right side need to buy new lock outs and put axle back in i will guaratee that the 4 wheel drive does work.....This will make someone a nice truck just a little TLC..... You can drive it the way it is but I would not do it very long time... If you have any questions call me at 386-249-3426 James

Ford files trademark for 'EcoBeast' moniker
Mon, Dec 29 2014Ford has done some performance stuff with its EcoBoost line of vehicles, most notably with its Focus and Fiesta ST, the new, turbocharged Mustang and the luke-warm Taurus SHO and F-150 Tremor, but it's kind of avoided going wholly bonkers. That could be set to change quite soon, judging by a trademark filing with Uncle Sam. Ford has registered the name EcoBeast with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, listing it as "automobiles and automobile engines," according to the team at Motorlix, which discovered the filing. As always, it bears mentioning that companies are constantly filing trademarks, even if a good or service never emerges with said name. We agree with Motorlix, though – it seems highly unlikely Ford is going to just let this name languish. What vehicle or engine will wear this new badge is the real question. We're leaning towards something F-150 related, based on our last round of spy photos of the new SVT Raptor, although it's impossible to say for certain what the Blue Oval has planned. Here's hoping we find out in just a few weeks when Ford brings basically all of its performance merchandise to the 2015 Detroit Auto Show. Until then, let us know what you think Ford is planning with the EcoBeast.
2015 Ford F-150 enters production
Wed, 12 Nov 2014Ford has given the F-150 a dramatic makeover for 2015, switching to an aluminum body that helps reduce weight by about 700 pounds. Because the truck is dramatically different, Ford also had to change the way it makes the F-150, so we went inside its sprawling factory in Dearborn, MI, this week to see the Blue Oval's new manufacturing techniques in action.
The company has added 850 jobs at the site and upgraded its stamping and tool and die facilities. The body shop is also modernized, and it has been fitted with 500 new robots that join the structures together. The first 2015 F-150 rolled off the line on Tuesday, and the trucks will begin arriving in dealerships in December. Get a closer look at the F-150's unique assembly process in our video.
2015 Ford Mustang potentially 'leaked' by Car and Driver
Mon, 28 Oct 2013Few upcoming debuts have been as eagerly anticipated as the all-new Ford Mustang that's expected to debut shortly as the Mustang's 50th anniversary year approaches. Well, Car and Driver magazine would have us wait no longer as it claims to be leaking Ford's new global pony car early.
Of course what you're looking at is just as likely to be a composite rendering based on what C/D projects the new Mustang to look like, but to our eyes it looks spot on. Combining design traits from the Evos Concept with classic Mustang signatures and Ford's Aston-inspired grille treatment, C/D's images - including a complete 360-degree digital navigator - show a Mustang not only for the modern era, but also for global distribution, taking a quintessentially American car to markets its predecessors were never designed for.
Those global considerations are expected to spell the demise of the outgoing Mustang's holdout live rear axle in favor of an independent suspension, and a slight constricting of the exterior dimensions. And thanks to a separate leak, coming from a digital survey, we have apparent confirmation of what will power the new pony car. While the existing 3.7-liter V6 and 5.0-liter V8 engines will apparently carry over with only slight adjustments in output, the survey confirms a new 2.4-liter turbo four will be positioned in between them, offering slightly more power than the V6 but markedly improved fuel economy for a manageable $560 premium over base.
