Hello folks and diesel lovers out there my name is Tom my wife and I own E Motors a PA licensed dealership here in Carlisle PA, I have been a new and used dealer and diesel tech and expert since the late 70's and today I just pittle around and sell a few mint classic truck diesels on line. I love all old 7.3's and 5.9's but hate the rot that all northeast vehicles get so I take the time and use my connections and  fly out west to California and other western states and down south to hand pick a few mint rustfree trucks then go over them and list for a fair market price.

Mint condition is not for everyone because you get what you pay for most people that call want low mile mint for farm truck price, wish it did work that way but it dont, I also do not take trades or do financing, but I do airport pickup, drop any rental cars off to get here, have hours 7 days a week on call, I also sell online or offline on a first come first served basis only, if you want it get a deposit on it will hold... please call for questions concerns, thanks Tom 717 991 0568

I flew out to Orange County California last winter and bought this beautiful California owned 95 Ford F350 XLT HD 4x4 Crew Longbox Powered by the 7.3 Powerstrke diesel engine and the 5 speed transmission. Truck is just a beautiful example of a California rust free all original paint pickup truck. Its really hard to believe its almost a 20 year old truck in all or its original condition,

All service history including new clutch, filters fluids ect...The 7.3 fires right up no smoke or blow by, no drips. Good tight ball joints, ty rods tires ect. Drives nice and tight down the interstate at 65 all the way across the US, of course equipped with the Dana solid front axle. No lifts, programmers, ect it is all original stock I even have factory wheels if wanted

Nice clean interior with all equip working good, body and frame is just awesome no rust nice glossey orig finish and clear coats. Well worth the time and effort to come and take a look will deal a little on price in person to serious buyers only. I guess you will find some sort of wear and tear if you look hard enough but nothing anyone would do anything about,,good luck and have a great summer Tom 717 991 0568

Watch a drone try to land in back of a moving 2015 Ford F-150 at night

Fri, Apr 3 2015

Automotive stunts don't always have to make sense; they just have to look cool. Does it really prove anything about the bed lighting in the 2015 Ford F-150 to attempt to land a drone back there while driving at night? Probably not, but Ford Canada wants to find out anyway, because the trick looks good on film. Chris Bacik is an expert at flying drones and even builds his own to use for his aerial cinematography company. As Ford Canada's very serious narrator intones, the question now is whether he can use those piloting skills to land on a moving F-150 in the dark. To make things even harder, the night of the stunt is quite windy. Even if the video demonstrates little about the truck's capabilities, it's fun to see if Bacik can do accomplish the feat. Ford pulling out of V8 Supercars after 2015

Tue, Dec 2 2014

Australian racing fans are staring down the end of an era as news breaks that Ford will no longer participate in the V8 Supercars series. Although the official announcement has yet to be made, the decision – as reported widely in the automotive press Down Under and in global motorsport publications – indicates that the Blue Oval automaker has already confirmed its intentions to its shareholders early on Monday to shut down its factory effort in the popular tin-top series at the end of next season. The move will mark the end of an era for what has become the International V8 Supercars Championship. Alongside GM's Holden division, Ford was one of only two manufacturers competing in the series from its inception in the late 1990s through last year when a change in regulations opened the door for entries from Nissan, Volvo and Mercedes. Further rule changes are expected to attract even more manufacturers to the series, with Lexus said to be first among them. Over the past eighteen seasons, the V8 Supercars Championship has been won in a Holden Commodore fourteen times, leaving Ford to win the title only four times with successive versions of the Falcon. Eleven of the cars on the grid this season were Commodores, compared to only seven Ford Falcons between two teams that will need to switch to another manufacturer for the season after next – although some could opt to stick with their Fords for one more season, even without factory support, until the open 2016 regulations take effect. The decision follows Ford's announcement last year that it will cease manufacturing in Australia by 2016, ending a 90-year presence Down Under that stretches back to 1925. Blue Oval models like the Falcon, previously unique to the Aussie market, are being replaced by imported models like the Mondeo and Mustang.

William Clay Ford Sr. dead at 88

Sun, 09 Mar 2014

William Clay Ford, retired vice chairman of Ford Motor Company and the last surviving grandchild of company founder Henry Ford, died this morning after a bout with pneumonia. He was 88.
Ford spent 57 years with his grandfather's company, joining the board of directors in 1948 before graduating from college. Ford also held a position as chairman of the design committee, as well as the chairman of the executive committee and vice chairman of the Board of Directors during his tenure with the company. In a 2013 Detroit Free Press story, retired CFO Allan Gilmour said Ford had an eye for design, and was once able to pick out when a fiberglass model of a Ford Contour was asymmetrical, off by an inch on one side. He retired and assumed the position of director emeritus in 2005.
"My father was a great business leader and humanitarian who dedicated his life to the company and the community," said Bill Ford, Jr., Ford's current executive chairman. "He also was a wonderful family man, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him, yet he will continue to inspire us all."
