Its been my primary work truck since i bought it in 05/2008.
Im the original owner, I designed it and put it out to bid online in 02/2008 after many tries, one manufacturer said they could make it for me....Ford only.
This was my first new truck/car ever, so I am a little over the top about it.

My requirements for a "real work truck"are;

Regular cab w/8'bed,
4 wheels,
2 ton in bed payload,
12,500lb tow capacity,
MUST be able to do both at the same time, safely and legally.

-This was the only type of 4 wheeled truck made that can do this legally in 2008.

-6.4 turbo diesel, stock 350HP- 650ftlbs torque, with 69k miles is a little over half broken in. This was my personal truck and I owned 5 trucks all together, so I barely drove this one.
-9'2"BOSS V-PLOW bought in fall of 2008 new. I had to prove my GVWR (over 10k lbs) to BOSS, before they even would sell it to me because at the time, nobody made a pickup truck with the load capacity for a 9'vplow, back then only a 6 wheeled truck was capable.
- Has some scratches, some minimal hail damage to hood, well, bumps and bruises come with age, please remember it is 5 years old.
- Professionally detailed annually & washed monthly.
- Plow serviced annually.
- During plow season it got washed during every plow, after every plow, then washed again within 3 days of roads being cleared, yes at least 3 times per snow storm! Truck and plow, every time, thoroughly & religiously.

-I had a dump body insert in this for a couple years as well. Tailgate (worth a couple grand Ford tells me) it is in storage and comes with the truck.
-2008 F-350XL $45,000.00 (sticker price)
-2008 BOSS V-PLOW $7700.00
-2012 Power inverter mounted in cap. $350.00
-2008 strobes in blinkers. $300.00
-2012 back up cam. $75.00
-2012 reverse lights $40.00
-2013 new tires $650.00
-2013 new brakes $100.00
-2011 ARE matching contractors cap w/cargo rack $2000.00

I've got a total of $60k invested into the truck and will NOT part with it for less than $30k. I don't haggle, I offer it for a reasonable price, that allows the buyer, to get themselves a good deal on the "holy grail of pickup trucks" This trucks absolutely amazing, quiet, good looking, power forever... I could ramble bout it for hours. I'm no longer able to work so I closed my business a few months ago and began selling off all my tools/equipment/trucks.
Plow seasons pretty well done, its paid off and I dont need a monster work truck any longer, time to pass it along.

GM's Reuss predicts 2016 Chevy Camaro will outperform Ford Mustang in every way

Tue, Apr 7 2015

We aren't going to be seeing the next-generation Chevrolet Camaro until next month. But even though we know when we're going to see the new muscle car, it's totally unclear whether Chevy will dole out technical details. That means we can't answer the latest version of the age-old question: Camaro or Ford Mustang? Not surprisingly, General Motors North America President Mark Reuss has already stated his position, saying he was "very confident" that the sixth-generation Camaro will be faster, more agile and more efficient than the Ford. Reuss made his comments after saying he drove the new Camaro back-to-back with the Mustang the week prior. Reuss' statement came in a conversation with Fox News about the 2016 Camaro where he elaborated on the car's weight shedding and how it fit into GM's strategy on other new models. "There are some really cool things in the Camaro, that are quite different than the Malibu, [and] CT6," Reuss told Fox. As we reported previously, the Camaro will shed some 200 pounds by switching to aluminum and other lightweight composites for some of its components. With May 16 just over a month away, here's hoping Reuss decides to loose some other details on the next Camaro ahead of its debut. Related Video:

Ford Fiesta ST orders off to strong start

Fri, 17 May 2013

We at Autoblog love the new little Ford Fiesta ST, and apparently, folks in Europe are pretty impressed with it, as well. According to Ford, the automaker's European arm has already logged 3,000 orders for the new hot hatch since it hit dealerships this March. The US-spec car, which will only be available as a five-door, will go on sale in the United States this summer.
What's perhaps most interesting about the Fiesta ST ordering is that the majority of customers appear to be ordering high-spec cars. According to Ford data, 60 percent of customers have opted for the leather interior with Recaro buckets, and 90 percent have selected the upgraded 17-inch wheels (seen on our test car, above). Spirit Blue has been the most popular color, commanding 27 percent of all orders. As for the technology upgrades, 19 percent of customers have ponied up for the Sony stereo with navigation.
To recap, the Fiesta ST is offered with Ford's 1.6-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, putting out 179 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque, mated exclusively to a six-speed manual transmission. We had an absolute blast flinging the hot Fiesta through the French Alps, and we can't wait for this sharp little hatch to make its way over to the States.

Ford pulls official support from top-level NHRA teams

Sun, 11 Aug 2013

As the smallest team in the sport, it wasn't really a surprise when Dodge decided to pull out of NASCAR, but Autoweek is reporting that Ford is looking to pull the plug on its professional-level NHRA sponsorships following the 2014 season. With attendance and television ratings down, the article reports that Ford is just backing out of the top series but will remain active in the Sportsman classes of racing, which are geared more toward the grassroots and semi-professional racers.
This means that one of drag racing's biggest names, John Force, will be left looking for new sponsorship after next season. Force, 64, has been with Ford for 17 years, winning 15 championships in that time and winning almost half of all Funny Car events in his Mustang since he started working with Ford in 1997, but after 2014, there could be some big shakeups at John Force Racing.
According to the report, Force would consider is moving over to the Top Fuel dragster series, although he could also move to another manufacturer to remain in the Funny Car series. With Ford on the way out, this leaves just Toyota and Dodge as the remaining active automakers in the highest levels of drag racing.
