1997 F-350 XL 4X4 Flatbed Dump (Electric Piston), Western Power Angle plow (New Plow Lights And Harness Connector) works excellent, 5.8  V-8 (Recent Tune Up), Automatic Trans, 46,100 Original Miles, Needs Front Spring Work, Paint, Bed Restore, Inspection. I have over $3800 invested....Kelley blue book value is over $8000 on the low side, please look up.......No tire kickers, hagglers, etc. Needs work stated, but is well worth the price, and putting some $$$ into.My loss is your gain.

On Sep-15-13 at 06:51:28 PDT, seller added the following information:

Update: TIRES ARE GOOD 33X10.50X16.5", EVERYTHING WORKS: HEATER,WIPERS,TURN SIGNALS, LIGHTS, BRAKE LIGHTS, AM/FM RADIO, CIGARETTE LIGHTER, PLOW,PLOW LIGHTS,BEACON LIGHT,

THE FRONT LEAF SPRING ENDS ARE LOOSE, DUE TO THE HEAVY PLOW, AND USE.

THERE IS A NEW DRIVER SIDE CAB CORNER..WAS WELDED SOLID, ONLY REPLACED BECAUSE OF DAMAGE. NOT SHOWN IN SPRING PICTURES.

THE BED, IN MY EYES NEEDS SOME WORK...CAN BE USED AS IS, BUT I WOULD REPLACE LUMBER.

I DROVE THIS TRUCK HOME FROM UPPER DARBY PA., WHICH IS WELL OVER 100 MILES, IT WAS A LONG, GAS COSTLY RIDE...IT IS YOUR CHOICE TO DO THE SAME, ALTHOUGH I DO NOT RECOMEND IT....THIS VEHICLE WAS NOT MADE FOR TRIPS, CRUISING, ETC....IT IS A WORK/FARM/ PLOW TRUCK.

THE PLOW IS VERY HEAVY, BUT IS A UNI-MOUNT.

I AM ONLY SELLING TO SAVE MY BUSINESS....I WOULD RATHER NOT OTHERWISE.

THIS IS AN EXTREMELY REASONABLE PRICE FOR WHAT IT IS, AND WHAT IT IS WORTH OVERALL......I REFUSE TO DROP DOWN BELOW RESERVE PRICE!!!!!!!

Mercury rises around sexy Cougar pack

Sat, May 30 2015

With a slightly larger body and a more luxurious interior, the Mercury Cougar doesn't carry quite as much cachet among pony car enthusiasts as the venerable Ford Mustang. But don't try to make that argument around Cougar super-fan Mike Brown. Since starting his Cougar collecting in 1988, Brown has become an absolute expert on the model, and he claims to have owned 400 of the Mercury pony cars in that time. Ten of them are in his collection today, not to mention a heap of spare parts in the garage. Check out some of the rarer members of Brown's fleet and allow him to tell you about them in this interesting interview from Electric Federal.

Carfection looks for the ultimate pocket rocket

Fri, Mar 18 2016

If there's one thing we love, it's a good showdown. Especially when it's on video, done by some Englishmen, and involving some manner of performance machinery. Like this latest clip, for example, from Carfection. The team formerly known as Xcar have assembled three very compelling supermini hot hatches: two we can get on our side of the pond, and one we can't. One American, one Frenchman, and one Brit. One cheap, one expensive, and one somewhere in between. They all pack turbo fours, of course, but placed in entirely different packages. There's the evergreen favorite Ford Fiesta ST, the Renault Clio RS 220 Trophy that should have the rest licked, and the retro rocket that is the Mini JCW. And there's only one way to find out which is the best. It's a tough contest, to be sure, but lest you think it all comes down to specifications or which one's the newest, you'll want to think again. Because when it comes to hot hatches, all the electronic gizmos and power boosts in the world can't show up a perfectly dialed-in chassis that lets you hug the curves and feel like you're going a lot faster than you actually are. But don't take our word for it – see what our British friends have to say about it in the Queen's English in the seventeen-minute clip above. Related Video:

Project Ugly Horse: Part VIII

Now With More EcoBoost
There's an EcoBoost 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder in there somewhere, and it's headed straight for Ugly Horse.
For the second time in my life, I'm staring at an engine in the back of a truck with no concept of how to get it safely into the garage by my lonesome. The first time this happened, I dragged home a $300 International 345 V8 in the back of my Scout Terra only to discover that the bounds of my manliness terminated well before my ability to muscle that 800-pound cast iron block out of the pickup bed.
