well, i have a guy who works for a shop i run and i am listing this for him. the truck is at his ranch and i will have it at our shop on saturday and list more pictures of truck. i just want to put it out there as it is a must sell deal. he just got a dwi. and must sell to pay lawyer fees. i am an honest seller as you can see and we will answer any and all questions to the best of our knowledge.
this guy has owned the truck for a few years and it was his fathers befre that for the same amount of time...
his father and brother were some of the best body and paint men around ..but retired and then did the drip rail trim and body work.. then left it primered for paint but then traded the owner for a dually to pull the race car instead,
truck...is a 1977 ford f 350 super cab .    runs and drives strong with the 460 it has in it with almost 87,000 original miles.  as far as we know.  seems to be correct... the truck was beautiful red and white two tone but they felt to finish and repaint was best... we do have all of the molding to put back on it...and the hub caps..as far as i know.
truck is still legal with antique plates untill the end of march...
this truck needs work but is in good shape for its age and condition. runs strong. no ac or heat.  have the door seals new to give you ..just never installed...
any questions ... ask..
i will post alot of pictures on saturday afternoon.
 thank you

Chris Harris checks out Ken Block's Hoonicorn '65 Mustang

Thu, Dec 4 2014

Ken Block's Hoonicorn, which stars in Gymkhana Seven, might still bear a passing resemblance to a vintage 1965 Ford Mustang, but underneath the skin, the car is one of the baddest custom machines to ever do a smoky burnout on the road. The ever enthusiastic British auto journalist Chris Harris is now showing what really makes Block's new ride tick on video, and Harris even gets to go for quite a ride. The only Mustang components really left on the Hoonicorn are the A-pillar, B-pillar and roof, according to Harris. Everything else is ditched to create Block's ultimate Gymkhana tool. The 845-horsepower, 6.7-liter Rousch Yates V8 sits behind the front axle, and the grunt is routed to all four wheels through a Sadev gearbox usually found on Dakar Rally vehicles. The whole drivetrain is packed with cool little touches; like that giant handbrake that also disconnects power from the front wheels when in use. The superlatives about the Hoonicorn could go on forever, but settle in and let a very excited Harris tell you about just some of them. He's like a kid in a candy store here, and the look that combines surprise, fear and joy during his ride with Block is the kind that lacks a suitable word in the English language.

Watch this week's Top Gear America used-car challenge

Sat, Sep 9 2017

Top Gear America is back for the penultimate episode of the first season. Used car challenges were some of the highlights of the original UK edition. In our exclusive clip, Tom Ford, Antron Brown and William Fichtner run their $7,000 sports cars in a drag race. As expected, the trio chose very different cars for the challenge. Watch the video to see if a Subaru WRX's all-wheel drive can overcome a power deficit to beat a Ford Mustang and a Chevy Corvette. Brown and Fichtner also spend some time relaxing with an old Jeep Wagoneer. Like them, we're really hoping Jeep will bring back the Wagoneer nameplate. Brown also drives a Maserati Levante, proving that not all family cars need be boring. This week's guest star is actor, rapper and former host of Pimp My Ride, Xzibit. Top Gear America airs Sundays at 8 p.m. Eastern on BBC America. Related Video: Celebrities TV/Movies Chevrolet Ford Subaru Top Gear exclusive top gear america

NHTSA and Ford investigating steering issues in Crown Vic, Grand Marquis and Marauder

Fri, 11 Jul 2014

There may be more steering woes for the Ford Crown Victoria. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has opened a preliminary evaluation into the Crown Vic and Mercury Grand Marquis from the 2004 to 2007 model years and the Mercury Marauder for the 2004 and 2005 model years because the steering shaft can jam. The issue could potentially affect an estimated 500,000 vehicles.
According to the regulator, there is a possibility that the driver's side heat shield for the exhaust manifold can rust, dislodge, and then wedge into the steering shaft. If this occurs, it leads to a situation where the driver can no longer control the car.
NHTSA has received five complaints of this happening, including one alleged case with an injury. In that situation, the car was driving onto the highway, lost control and rolled over. One occupant was hurt in the accident.
