Please save me in your sellers list and check out my other listings if I currently have any. I do towing and sometimes come across nice vehicles. I check them for possible problems and do a test drive. I don't buy junk or vehicles I wouldn't trust driving myself. Some of the vehicles I come across are repos or have expired tags, but are good running vehicles with no problems. If I find any problems I will post them in the listing so you know what you are bidding on. Vehicles with expired registration are especially good for buyers outside of California because back fees owed to California DMV don't apply in other States. You will also be able to legally drive the vehicle back to your State by purchasing a vehicle moving permit that you can get for $18 at any California DMV. You can also get this permit at a DMV in your State.

I saved this great running classic 1968 F-250 from an abusive owner who started hauling trash with this beauty. I picked her up on my motorcycle and drove her (with my bike in the bed) for over one hour on the freeway. She just had a tune up and runs super smooth and strong, no leaks of any kind, no overheating, no shaking, no weird noises under the hood. But she needs an alignment and brakes need to be bled. The brakes still stop the truck, but I kept my distance because if you want to stop hard you have to pump the pedal once and then hit it again to brake hard, but there is no brake fluid leak, just some air in the lines, that's all.

Interior is pretty clean and in good shape for it's age, but there is no radio, no speakers and AC/heater don't work. Everything else works great, all gauges, lights, blinkers, cigarette lighter, wipers and power steering works super smooth.

Exterior is pretty straight, besides minor dings. Red metallic paint is shiny, but it does have bigger scratches on the bed. Paint actually looks better in person because the metallic sparkles in the sun which you can't see in the pictures. Truck has a bumper towing hitch and a class 3 hitch with trailer light hook up, it also has two gas tanks and there is a storage compartment on the passenger side of the bed. Tires have lots of tread left, but the two on the passenger side are weathered, but they hold air with no leaks.

This truck holds a clean/clear title and I have it on hand.

Registration expired less than two months ago, on March 31st 2013 and there might be a minor DMV late fee. If there is one, this fee does not apply to buyers outside of California.

This truck is being sold as is where is with no warranty. Buyer is responsible for pickup in a timely manner. I can also direct you to an auto transport.

If you have any questions or would like to test drive the truck prior to placing a bid you can write me or call/text me @ 310-872-4718.

Thank you and happy bidding.

An in-depth look at the Ford GT with Xcar

Sun, Jul 26 2015

Ford made big waves when it unveiled the new GT at the Detroit Auto Show this past January. But as far as details go, it's been rather quiet. Though Dearborn has revealed what engine will sit between those buttresses, it hasn't told us exactly how many horses or torques it will produce, or precisely how fast we should expect it to propel the new all-American supercar. Fortunately, the automaker let the crew at Xcar into the studio to give us a quick, four-minute rundown of all the information that is out there at the moment, along with all the most intriguing angles of the vehicle's design. The historically savvy among us will already know that the new 2016 Ford GT traces its roots back to the GT40 that conquered Le Mans half a century ago, and through the previous Ford GT that debuted a decade ago. Both of those featured V8 engines (supercharged in the latter case) while their modern successor goes with a twin-turbo V6. But as Xcar points out, six cylinders aren't without their precedence in the history of the GT-series Ford supercar: the GT70 rally car of 1970 originally packed a 2.6-liter V6. That engine was later replaced by a 1.6-liter inline-four, which puts another crack in the theory of the eight's hegemony over the history of the series – as does, we'll point out, the Bugatti-like quad-turbo V12 that featured in the GT90 concept of 1995 that sadly never made production. The point is that divergence from V8 tradition shouldn't dissuade anyone from getting excited over the arrival of the new GT, and we're looking forward to seeing what she can do – on and off the track. Supercars for the win | Autoblog Podcast #515

Fri, May 19 2017

Some days at Autoblog are better than others. And in this episode, we talk about those days. Specifically, the days where we get to drive supercars. Mike Austin, Greg Migliore, and Alex Kierstein join up in this episode to talk about driving the McLaren 720S, Ford GT, and Porsche 911 GT3. We also drove some less-super, but still notable cars that we talk about at the top of the show. And as always, we play the game Spend My Money where we get to tell readers what we'd do if we were them. We had a lot of fun with this one, we hope you enjoy listening to it. The rundown is below. Remember, if you have a car-related question you'd like us to answer or you want buying advice of your very own, send a message or a voice memo to podcast at autoblog dot com. (If you record audio of a question with your phone and get it to us, you could hear your very own voice on the podcast. Neat, right?) And if you have other questions or comments, please send those too.
