"THIS IS A NO RESERVE LISTING"

Please read the complete listing, look at all of the pictures and feel free to ask questions before you bid on this truck.  I have driven this truck about a 1000 miles over the last 2 weeks checking it out before listing it for sale so I can let you know as much as I can about this truck before you bid on it.  As always please DO NOT bid if you do not intend on paying for this truck at the end of the auction with in the time listed.

This is a 1-owner fleet maintained truck that belonged to a local truck parts company that took care of their own fleet of vehicles.

This is a 2004 FORD F-250 REGULAR CAB LONG BED TRUCK with the XL PACKAGE.  It has the 6.0L POWERSRTOKE ENGINE, 5 SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION, P/S, P/B, TILT WHEEL, CRUISE CONTROL and COLD AIR.

The interior has a cloth seat, rubber floor mat and is dirty, but useable.  The exterior is solid white and does have scratches around it, a few dings here and there and is missing the tailgate.  Has a cheap plastic bedliner in the bed since new but is dirty from hauling truck parts around in it all the time.  Tires are about 80% tread all the way around on factory steel wheels.  Has cracked windshield on passenger side.

This truck runs and drives good, has cold air, good heat and NO SMOKE or blow by.  Was told by the fleet company that this truck had an upgraded EGR COOLER installed on it at 300-k miles and the transmission was gone through at 250-k miles however I have no paper work on either.

If you are looking for a nice truck that is in great condition that needs nothing done to it, then please keep looking.  If you are wanting just a good ol' truck that runs and drives good but does not matter about getting scratched up or banged up this is the truck for you!

I am a lic. and bonded dealer in Ft.Worth, Texas and have been here in the same location since 1983.  If you are the winning bidder and live in Texas I will collect the TT&L and take care of the paper work for you. (6.25%tax, .2290%vit, $65.transfer and $91. for tags and inspection)  NO HIDDEN FEES or so-called ebay charges!  Out of state winning bidder will bring me the cash and pick up your truck and title.

NO CASHIERS CHECKS, NO MONEY ORDERS, NO PERSONAL CHECKS and NO BS!

Bronco, Yukon, Hummer and a CES recap | Autoblog Podcast #610

Fri, Jan 17 2020

In this week's Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Consumer Editor Jeremy Korzeniewski and Assistant Editor Zac Palmer. They kick things off by talking about recent news, including the revival of the Hummer name as an electric pickup, revealing Ford Bronco spy shots and the unveiling of the 2021 GMC Yukon. Then Zac tells about his time in Las Vegas attending CES 2020. They talk about the cars they've been driving: a JCW-tuned Mini Clubman, the long-term Subaru Forester with its new gold wheels, a Volvo S60 PHEV that's been added to the long-term fleet, and a Camry Hybrid. Last, but not least, they help a listener decide how to spend his money on a sports car. Ford tells Congress it collects and protects some driver data

Fri, 14 Feb 2014

Last month Ford's Jim Farley made waves at the CES when it was reported he told show attendees, "We have GPS in your car, so we know what you're doing. By the way, we don't supply that data to anyone." Farley and Ford later partially retracted and clarified that statement.
Spurred by a desire for further transparency on data collection policies, Ford representatives answered questions from Congress, specifically Senator Al Franken (D-Minn.), about driver privacy.
The Detroit News reports that Ford told Congress it does collect some vehicle location data in an effort to "troubleshoot and improve our products" on behalf of the driver. Ford went on to say that it only collects limited data after receiving permission from owners.

Full-size trucks are the best and worst vehicles in America

Thu, Apr 28 2022

You don’t need me to tell you that Americans love pickup trucks. And the bigger the truck, the more likely it seems to be seen as an object of desire. Monthly and yearly sales charts are something of a broken record; track one is the Ford F-Series, followed by the Chevy Silverado, RamÂ’s line of haulers, and somewhere not far down the line, the GMC Sierra. The big Japanese players fall in place a bit further below — not that thereÂ’s anything wrong with a hundred thousand Toyota Tundra sales — and one-size-smaller trucks like the Toyota Tacoma, Ford Ranger and Chevy Colorado have proven awfully popular, too. Along with their sales numbers, the average cost of new trucks has similarly been on the rise. Now, I donÂ’t pretend to have the right to tell people what they should or shouldnÂ’t buy with their own money. But I just canÂ’t wrap my head around why a growing number of Americans are choosing to spend huge sums of money on super luxurious pickup trucks. Let me first say I do understand the appeal. People like nice things, after all. I know I do. I myself am willing to spend way more than the average American on all sorts of discretionary things, from wine and liquor to cameras and lenses. IÂ’ve even spent my own money on vehicles that I donÂ’t need but want anyway. A certain vintage VW camper van certainly qualifies. I also currently own a big, inefficient SUV with a 454-cubic-inch big block V8. So if your answer to the question IÂ’m posing here is that youÂ’re willing to pay the better part of a hundred grand on a chromed-out and leather-lined pickup simply because you want to, then by all means — not that you need my permission — go buy one. The part I donÂ’t understand is this: Why wouldn't you, as a rational person, rather split your garage in half? On one side would sit a nice car that is quiet, rides and handles equally well and gets above average fuel mileage. Maybe it has a few hundred gasoline-fueled horsepower, or heck, maybe itÂ’s electric. On the other side (or even outside) is parked a decent pickup truck. One that can tow 10,000 pounds, haul something near a ton in the bed, and has all the goodies most Americans want in their cars, like cruise control, power windows and locks, keyless entry, and a decent infotainment screen.
