I have owned this truck since November of 2012, the interior is in good shape for the age and mileage but there are some cosmetic blemishes on the interior and the exterior. All of the equipment on the truck works except the drivers side heated seat ($60 and a couple hours and it's fixed). there is some damage to the passenger side mirror as well. The truck has newer Nitto Terra Grappler tires (about 80% tread) the truck has 122,890 as of today (3/10) but it will go up as it is my daily driver. In November I put drilled and slotted rotors on front and back with new ceramic pads all around and new shoes on the rear for the parking brake. It has Halo HD headlights and and l.e.d. cab brake light and I have the original factory lights to go with the truck. Under the hood is all stock except for a cold air intake, the engine and trans have no leaks, knocks, rattles or any funny noises. The front drivers side window tint was peeling when I bought the truck and I have not had time to remove and re-tint the window. In the interior pictures there are spots on the seats, it was raining lightly when the pictures where taken, they are not permanent spots/stains. Ford Australia pulls the ol' talking car prank
Mon, 07 Apr 2014Siri from Apple has proven that being able to talk to your technology doesn't always work perfectly. But what if it could eventually go far enough to give a personality to inanimate objects like our cars? Ford took just this path to comedic effect by playing a prank on many unsuspecting Australians, in a new commercial for its EcoSport compact crossover.
The Aussies seem very nonchalant about having a random parked car talk to them, and they seem surprisingly game when it asks them to get in, call a celebrity and tell a joke. (We're guessing there are some hilarious outtakes, too.) Scroll down to watch some folks from Down Under have a conversation with Ford's CUV.
Saab-powered Ford is the most unlikely drift car we've seen
Tue, Jan 19 2016Yes, you read that headline correctly. It's supposed to be a Saab-powered Ford, and not the other way around (although we fully support the notion of a Sonnet with a Flathead V8). Apparently, some lunatic in the UK took an ass-less 1953 Ford Anglia, paired it with a turbocharged Saab engine, and tuned the entire thing to go drifting. We like it. Called Urchfab, it's the subject of Carfection's (the blokes formerly known as XCar) latest video. Aside from looking like an extra from the British version of Mad Max, it has a problem with grip, in that there's just too much of it. This car is a fabber's dream, as we get to see its unnamed owner fashion new bits and bobs for the suspension before having an unfortunate encounter with a wall at Castle Combe. 'Born of a Blue Sky' brings the Amelia Island Concours to you
Fri, 03 May 2013The Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance has more clout every year and is getting a reputation as Pebble Beach minus the madness. Held in March this year, it celebrated Ducati and the 50-year anniversaries of Lamborghini, the Corvette Sting Ray, Porsche 911 and the Ford GT40.
Justin Lapriore was there, and seemingly everywhere, getting footage of the various wares on display on the lawns and the sand and the runway. The resulting video, Born of a Blue Sky, is a 16-minute survey of some of the finer sights and plenty of engine sounds. Check it out below.
