This vehicle is driven regularly and drives like a dream....
I am only the 4th owner, off a Georgia farm... then off the farm in GA to upstate NY....
Previous owner was going to "update" it with his son... then abandoned the project.
I have removed & replaced the bench seat & wheels & tires! - it's so nice to have the spedometer accurate!
Re-cored (ordered new & just couldn't bear the sight of it) radiator & new drum brakes, horn ring, ...
The ONLY non-OEM items on the truck are the side view mirrors.. didn't have when I picked it up, which made merging onto the highway quite an experience.. so I couldn't wait to find those!
There are even the original owners manual, vintage maps & spare change in the glove box. All manuals & CD included.
All the side trim is in a box, just waiting for a better paint job! (not me!) including cowl molding.
It comes with a spare tailgate... it's blue but in better shape than the exisitng!
It comes with every magazine ad for the model & tons more Ford memorabilia from 1966!!
I recently moved & storage is a problem.... sad not to see her to completion :(

Ford adds 850 jobs to build 2015 F-150
Tue, 14 Oct 2014Pickup trucks tend not to advance at quite the same pace as the rest of the industry. That's what makes the new Ford F-150 so remarkable, jettisoning its old steel construction in favor of aluminum. It's a game changer that Ford is betting big on, and in anticipation of surging demand, the Blue Oval automaker is adding 850 new jobs to put the thing together.
Those 850 new employees will be centered at Ford's Rouge complex in Michigan - with 300 at Dearborn Stamping, 50 more at Dearborn Diversified and 500 at the Dearborn Truck facility, the latter of which has already kicked off what Ford describes as "the largest manufacturing transformation in decades." Old manufacturing equipment is being replaced with the latest technologies, and even the Ford Rouge Factory Tour is undergoing a complete overhaul.
The new jobs come as part of the commitments Ford made to the UAW in 2011 to create 12,000 hourly jobs in the United States by 2015 - a number which Ford has already exceeded at 14,000. Over 4,000 of those are centered in southeastern Michigan.

Project Ugly Horse is still coming along, and Zach has gifted us another update on his unfoxy Fox Body.
Last we saw of the Ugly Horse, Zach was strengthening up the '89 Mustang's chassis as he prepares to stuff the turbocharged, direct-injected EcoBoost engine of a Ford Focus ST under the hood. Fallon picks Ford F-150 King Ranch, launches dealership contest
Tue, 01 Apr 2014New truck! Jimmy Fallon of The Tonight Show has been searching for the perfect new truck for a few weeks now, soliciting help from all corners in the process. Last night, Fallon made the announcement that the Ford F-150 King Ranch - in all of its cowboy glory - had been picked as his big winner.
To add some more spice to a storyline that now dips deeply into the realm of the advertorial, Fallon also announced a contest to see which Ford dealership would get the privilege of selling him the King Ranch. Dubbed "Fingers on a 4x4" The Tonight Show has invited 10 dealer reps from around the country to keep their hands on Jimmy's F-150 for as long as possible. Last salesperson standing wins.
