You are bidding on a 1965 Ford F-100  long box custom cab twin I-beam  352 v8  4 speed manual transmission  w granny low and 95k on odometer. I bought this truck with the intentions of using it as a advertising tool for my business but plans have changed  as I'm unable to store this truck at my residence  due to neighborhood  covenants .  I'm no mechanic  but will do my best to describe this truck to the best of my ability.  This truck runs and drives I drove it home after putting  $6 in gas in tank it  Does not run good it burns some oil and was a noticeable what I believe to be a lifter tick coming from passenger side. Motor definitely will need some work but like I said it does run and start and will stay running on its own . The gas tank was supposedly  cleaned out by previous  owner  because truck had been sitting for some time it has a strong varnish  smell  I have since ran gas from gas can  directly to fuel pump as I don't trust the tank being clean.  Headlights, wipers and fan all seem to work blinkers do not I don't think brake lights are working . All glass  is good and no cracks. Missing door panels on drivers side, ash try, and other items See pictures. Has rust in floorboards  previous owner had removed vinyl  floor mat. Remainder of truck is very straight some damage on passenger door from some  mirrors that must of got caught on something . You can see a difference in colors on truck  the neighbor boy has tried to wax  those  spots he might finish the job but I cannot guarantee this. This is defiantly a  good truck to restore  as I planned to do  but I'm just unable to have it sitting in my driveway  so I hope it will find a good home and brought back to its former glory. This woman owns the first Ford Mustang sold in the US

Wed, 11 Dec 2013

As Ford celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Mustang with the unveiling of the all-new sixth-gen design, one Chicago women can lay claim to a piece of Mustang history. According to CBS Chicago, Gail Wise was the first person in the US to buy a Mustang in 1964, and she did so two days before the car was even unveiled to the public.
Wise, then a 22-year-old teacher, went into the Chicago Ford dealership wanting to buy a convertible, and a salesperson ushered her over to car covered by a tarp. That car was a baby blue Mustang convertible, which she still owns today - along with the documentation. After sitting for almost 30 years and undergoing a full restoration, the car now looks to be in original condition. The report says that this $3,400 purchase could be worth anywhere between $100,000 and $250,000. While this worked out well for Mrs. Wise, we wouldn't recommend anyone going into a dark, back room of a dealership hoping to get a jump on the purchase of a 2015 Mustang.

Peel and Ford Transit do a great Austin Powers impression

Tue, May 6 2014

It's no secret that the average fullsize cargo van is big. Like, really big. Expressing that size, though, without actually seeing the van in question, is a pretty tall order. When viewed from the right angle, even something as big as a cargo van can appear very small (look up forced perspective, to see what we mean). That's why it's always good to have a second object on hand, to provide a sense of scale. Ford took this simple idea to the extreme, illustrating the size of the new Ford Transit by pulling the world's smallest production car, the Peel P50, nose first into the van's 487-cubic-foot cargo area. That's no big deal, though, right? After all, at just 54 inches long and 39 inches wide, the Peel would fit quite happily in even the smallest fullsize truck bed. Ford takes it a step further, though. With the help of an actual reverse gear (we're guessing this is a CVT-equipped, electric model), the P50 manages to turn itself around and drive out. It does this in less than two minutes. So yeah, the Ford Transit is a pretty big van. Take a look below for the video from Ford. This content is hosted by a third party. More evidence GT500-replacement will be named GT350

Tue, 17 Dec 2013

During the recent unveiling of the 2015 Ford Mustang, we saw the car in both V6 and GT form, but we'll have to wait a little bit longer to see the successor to the Shelby GT500. In the meantime, though, it looks like SVTPerformance.com has confirmed reports that this high-performance model will bring the Shelby GT350 name back to Ford.
According to the forum post, a user found the Shelby GT350 name on a Ford promo website listing its 2015 lineup. The Shelby GT350 name was first used on a Mustang back in 1965, and most recently it has been a model created for customers as a post-title purchase by Shelby American. As for that car, Shelby confirmed earlier in the year that its GT350 would be phased out at the end of this month.
The million-dollar question for Mustang and Shelby enthusiasts is when we'll see next factory Shelby GT350. Last we heard it was planned for a debut at the New York Auto Show. We've included our previous spy shots of this hi-po, sixth-gen Mustang, and we've also captured it on spy video showing off its exhaust note.
