2002 Ford Explorer Xlt 4d Utility 4wd on 2040-cars
Nutley, New Jersey, United States
This was my first SUV I can't tell you how much I love this vehicle, from my trips to homedepot to pulling jetski and my boat and pack the vehicle up to three rows with passengers truly a safe and good value vehicle. I am selling the vehicle as I'm moving to florida and I have no need for the car, I sold off my boat and jetskis and I have a small car there and my fianc'e has SUV just like this. As much as I want this car, we won't have room and I hate to part with my favorite car I am not happy with this but it is the best for me to save on insurance. Title is clean I am second owner I bought the car in 2008. I put aftermarket tune up in the car spark plugs belt and life time guarantee air filter you can wash clean and re oil I have the products when I sell the car to you, two new ball bearings and spring in the font and new set of arm controls that I changed last winter. My transmission may need oil change or slip differential may need to be changed, car slips in long distances but does not effect over all of the vehicle this is probably a minor fix up. I also have cracked window shield in the corner cost about $120 to change I do not have time to fix the window since I am moving to florida but I took $200 off or discounted the reserve price for you so you can fix the issue, Currently the car has 126,000 but since it's my only vehicle I think I may put 50 miles more before I sell the car to you and leave for florida. Seller also has the right to cancel auction at anytime. Best feature on the vehicle, I have installed remote starter and purchased extra keys

Watch this Ford F-150 SVT Raptor fly like an eagle [UPDATE]
Mon, 04 Feb 2013The Ford F-150 SVT Raptor is a very capable truck right out of the box, but "capable" has never translated into "invincible." Just ask the owner of the machine in this video. In it, the driver gets frisky with an aggressive jump with plenty of speed on his hands. The result is enough air to make Vaughn Gittin Jr. blush. As always, it's not the launch that's painful, but the re-entry. Gravity eventually asserts its dominance over the $43,630 pickup in a big way, and when it comes crashing down, it does so with a vengeance.
The impact was hard enough to set off both the alarm and multiple airbags inside the cabin. It's unclear if anyone was injured in the stunt, but we certainly wouldn't be surprised to hear that was the case. You can check out the stunt in the video below, and remember, when in doubt, back out of the throttle. Be warned, there may be some explicit/NSFW language in the clip.
UPDATE: Second video added with an even better look at the jump added below.
New Ford Police Interceptor tech protects cops' backsides
Mon, 22 Jul 2013It was only a matter of time before law enforcement agencies would realize the potential of driver-assist technology for use in their Ford Police Interceptors, and, now that they have, those back-up cameras and radar systems won't be used just for parking, but for security, as well.
The surveillance mode system works when the camera or radar detects movement from behind the vehicle, and if it does when it's activated, an alarm will alert the officer inside the car, the driver's side window will roll up and the doors will lock, protecting the officer from an unwanted intrusion. The officer, of course, has the option to turn surveillance mode off, mainly in urban areas where pedestrians would constantly set the alarm off, and it can only be activated when the police car is in park.
Randy Freiburger, Ford's police and ambulance fleet supervisor, came up with the patent-pending idea when researching the needs of police officers and riding along with them, during which time he realized officers would be safer with an extra set of eyes watching the area behind their cars, especially at night or when they're completing paperwork, using the in-car computer or handling a radar gun. "Unfortunately, there are people with bad intentions who sneak up on police officers," he says.
