Good running Ford Explorer. I have owned it for the last 55,000 miles (close to three years). Oil changes every three thousand miles. Uses one quart of oil between changes. New tires in December 2012. New Front brakes. In the last year I have replaced the radiator, AC compressor, starter, and did a complete tune-up with wires. Every few months the check engine light comes on for "catalytic converter inefficient" but I turn it off and it is fine for two to three months. Little bit of rust on rear wheel beds and rear passenger door as well as back bumper. Ford of Europe celebrates Mondeo's 20th anniversary
Wed, 25 Sep 2013Ford's European operations are celebrating a milestone of sorts as the Mondeo, the Blue Oval's bread-and-butter D-segment sedan in the old country, celebrates its 20th anniversary. The mid-sizer, which was sold in the US for a short time as the Contour, has been a far more popular vehicle in Europe - even receiving regular praise from one Jeremy Clarkson.
